A fairly standard Hampton by Hilton hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable, a bit small but ok for the money and in such a central location. There's a tiny bit of noise from the streets but nothing that will bother you - the windows are well insulated. The breakfast was a very decent standard with plenty of choice to suit all preferences. The staff are lovely and give a warm welcome.
Hospitality at it’s finest! We arrived early sunday morning with a flight from Amsterdam. Entered the hotel around 9.30AM, hoping to store our luggage. To our surprise the room was already available and we were checked in straight away. Thanks a lot to Shannon for making our day!
Hotel was on a steep hill. Not any good for someone with mobility issues like myself. Don't tell you it's on a steep hill when you are booking. Breakfast was a disaster plant sausages hash browns were ok. Scrambled eggs no fried eggs. Haggis was as bland as you could get. Pork sausages and bacon were very crispy. Would not stay there again. Plenty of hotels in Glasgow far better than this for the price. I expected better from Hilton group. Walkability: On a very steep hill. Food & drinks: Breakfast was a disaster. Thank god there was toast.
I am a frequent guest of Hampton Inns and other Hilton properties. This was my worst experience. I stayed one night and transferred to another hotel. The bed was old tired, lumpy and I could feel every spring. The pillows so hard, that I emptied the pillow case and stuffed it with my puffer jackets. The desk service was lousy. They saw me struggling to drag my bags up the front steps. No one came to assist. I asked and they said there was no accessible entrance. To add insult to injury, on check-out the following morning, I said to the clerk, too bad you don't have an accessible entry. She responded, "oh, would you like me to unlock the side street door." And so she did. Why could the afternoon clerk who checked me in not have done the same.
I stayed here on a business trip. It was walkable 12 min from the central train station. The room was comfortable and clean. They have a great continental breakfast. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful.Rooms: 5/5
Had booked a 1 night stay and wanted to extend to 2 nights so phoned reception and spoke to a young woman who just wasn't interested in helping me, so I thought if that's there attitude what's my stay going to be like, so I cancelled and went elsewhere. First contact with your customers is so important as it shows what the customer can expect from there stay. You were badly let down by a couldn't care attitude from your staff and it cost you money, think you need to invest in training and getting the right people in positions they're passionate about. Mystery customer could buck up your staffs attitude.
This is by far one of the worst Hampton Inn I've ever stayed at. The rooms are small, no refrigerator, sketchy neighborhood, loud clubs next door at night and terrible service. Housekeeping is the worse as displayed by my photo. Stay away!Rooms: 1/5
Had some wierd substance on the wall and desk but it was otherwise very clean and a nice stay. Good breakfast choices but was a little cold. More like your typical Hampton in stayRooms: 5/5
Love this hotel. The staff are always happy and the rooms are a good size, WiFi also good and nice choices at breakfast. Very reasonable for city centre.Rooms: 5/5
Exceptionally noisy! Get waken up every morning at 8am by laundry delivery truck in the street below. It's like the Windows is open, you can hear everything from the street, but alors from your neighbors! Cheap beds could feel the springs Fire alarm blinking light all night. Didn't sleep well. Wouldn't recommend at all. Not up to hampton standards
