The start or end of all my journeys. I always marvel at this fete of engineering when I arrive or depart. There shops and a bar you can get food and drink at, several cash machines and the platform staff are always friendly! Lots of seating in the middle of the station if required!
A very nice, clean station with great access to several locations. The building is stunning and it is nice to see that the original architecture has been preserved.
Great station to start your journey from, good choice of shops to grab a bite to eat before your journey
The place is alive with people coming and going. All staff helpful and approachable. Hotels around the corner on Hope St. Taxi'S waiting outside . Just take a right at train station main entrance and just head Down to bottom and you are on Buchanan Street or head straight up Hope street and your on Sauchiehall Street.
Always a clean station whenever you enter plenty of friendly staff if your needing help. There are plenty of cafes if your hungry and a couple of bars just waiting on the new restaurant to open . Great meeting place if your meeting under the clock . There is a hotel situated at central also . There is a hidden gem under the station that is alston beef and bar they do great lunches .
This a wonderfully centrally located station. It is currently having some renovation work done but there are still places to grab a snack or drink. There are large digital boards providing updates train information and a staff information booth. The staff was both friendly and knowledgeable.
The Glasgow Central Station Tour Absolutely Fascinating. Well worth trying to book on this tour underneath the famous Glasgow Central Station. You will visit several floors below, through a WW1 mortuary, learning of the terrible conditions workers faced, until you end at a former Victorian station deep underground. Watch out for possible rats!
Apparently I can’t review Glasgow city centre so train station it is! Unbelievable place to visit, full of old and new! Historic architecture is amazing and they have some interesting hidden gems
We were visiting the Railway station to take the tour if the lesser seen parts of the building. Not cheap but very interesting and informative. Well worth a visit. Excellent guide. Recommended.
Well maintained train station that has managed to retain a lot of its original features. Clean and tidy well looked after. Lots of staff on hand to help out when needed. Good amount of relative up to date information on the train boards. Lots of services in and around the station to cater for all needs from a quick snack, lunch or dinner and that last minute gift.
