Don’t turn up late for your rental - They’ll cancel it. Their T&C’s say you have to arrive at the right date and time... but no mention of the 2hr auto cancellation window! Had to pay an extra 20% for a non-optional upgrade as all the cars of the grade I’d reserved & paid for were out of stock. The agent skipped the t&cs and asked me to sign anyway, so no idea what I signed for! Not worth the lower price, get a real car hire company

What an absolute nightmare! I am seriously wondering if this place is a scam. First, we booked and paid online, but were charged extra when we arrived because apparently there's a limit on mileage. Seemed weird, but we paid it anyway. Then we returned the car completely clean and unscathed, but they charged us 204 pounds for a mark on the TIRE of the car. I literally couldn't even see any damage. They lured us back into the office to "look into things" and then took the car before we could take any photos or anything to prove that there was no visible damage. The staff were cold and rude and unyielding, just repeating over and over again that we should have marked the damage on the check out sheet. But honestly I had no idea we needed to check for dust on tires. This place is awful.

Great low price for a last minute hire over the Christmas period. Friendly and helpful staff, as well as modern facilities. Highly recommended. N.B. The Edgware Road Green Motion office is located INSIDE the London Hilton Metropole Hotel.

SHOCKINGLY BAD. I rented a car through Green Motion and upon returning it they accused me of causing damage to the vehicle that was already there before my rental. They then charged my credit card for the damage without my approval and without informing me of the charge. I will definitely never user Green Motion again and would recommend you think twice before choosing them.

Sexiest staff (supposedly an automatic will be better and easier for my wife, because she's a women), piles of hidden charges, 3 types of ID and they take a mug shot, endless paperwork (not very green), limited mileage with high charges. Just not worth the advertised prices. Would give 1 star, but the cars themselves are pretty good.
