I read a lot of bad opinion about this Europcar agency. But actually I found it very good. I was there end of October on a Saturday morning and all went smoothly to get the car I had booked with the app. People were kind and car was of the expected level. Of course the environment is a railway station car park, you know what you can expect. Europcar is at the lower level, there are signs to help find your way.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I hire cars regularly and this is the worst company that I have ever used. The customers before me when I picked up the car were being bullied into paying an additional insurance fee on the car (the operative went so far as to say that it would be 'illegal' to hire the car without it) when they had booked the car through Europcar's own website! Why this website had not informed them of this additional fee I cannot understand. Not only this but the site did not have sufficient cars for the number of customers who had booked and was making people sit and wait (some customers had been there for more than 30 minutes) while further vehicles were sourced. When I dropped off the car another operative appeared to be arguing with another set of customers to make them pay an additional insurance levy. The operative asked me to give him the keys and he would sort the car out as he was busy with this customer. However, 15 minutes later he contacted me to inform me that there was apparently a 'small scuff' on the front wheel for which they wanted to charge me over £100. Reputable car hire companies might appear to be 15% more expensive than these charlatans but it will save you money in the long run!

Impossible to find down in the carpark which has no directions. two times in a row my friend has been told that he damaged the vehicle when he didn't luckily we took photos before and after. Well out of order especially when we went there because we thought they were a well known so reliable company. There's also no petrol stations near by which is a pain when you need to fill up before returning.

The service was good and the car was exceptional. Staff were doing the best to help us out during the busy period, I really appreciate it, Thanks Guys.

The guy who took care of our car return asked for us a lot of money for scratches that wasn't even from us. Then, I noticed that I lost my phone so I went back again and the guy lied to us and try to get rid of us as soon as possible with no other clue to work from. We took Europcar at first because we heard that there we can use another credit card than the driver's so it made this easier, but at the end, I can't wait to be able to use another car rental company. At King's cross, the employee was much nicer and helpful, even though the final result remains the same
