Hertz is a Fraud ! Please do not rent your car from Hertz ! They are bloody sucker! We called hertz Malaysia to make a booking in Hertz London, so we collected the car in St Pancras London. At the 1st place we only want a normal car Vauxhall corsa , but this salesman Andres persuaded us to upgrade our car to a Mercedes B class, and he offered us a special deal with £400 to rent a Mercedes B class for our 16days in The UK, we thought it is a great deal, so we agreed to upgrade. We did checked with this Andres about “ £400 is the total rental of The car for 16days! “ ,and he said yes! While we about the make payment by credit card, he said he will hold our credit card a deposit on top of our rental, and the deposit is refundable during our day of returning the car. We also agreed about the charge of the fuel —£64.85, if we didn’t manage to come back with full tank, Hertz will charge this £64.85. So Andres charged on hold a total of £817.
So we expect at the end of our returning, the charges will be £400 + £64.85 =£464.85 , and we understand the 20% tax charge on top of the total amount, so we expect it will be £464.85 + 20%= £557.85 , this £557.85 should be the exact amount of the rental, and we should only be charged £557.85.
However, when we came back to return the car, another salesman is there to liaise with us, he is LUIS, He told us the receipt was written as £817 and the system also shown as £817 , it is the total amount of the rental, and the £400 become the additiaonal fee of the upgrade car, and the previous car rental fee was £224.4+£27.84=252.24 ( it was Vauxhall Corsa ‘s Rental Fee) , so the receipt shown £252.24 plus the additional upgrade fee £400, plus the fuel £64.85 , plus 20% tax, become £817. And LUIS said they don’t collect security deposit, and he cannot do anything because Andres is on holiday in Spain !!!! And Luis also said it maybe a misunderstanding, but I tell you, it is definitely cannot be a misunderstanding, because we were standing there for so long to discuss with Andres, and make sure everything is correct before we start our journey. Now ,it is not just the money problem, it is about to be fair to us as a customer!!!
This is driving me crazy!!! It is ridiculous, what he verbally agreed and what they issued the receipt and what they really charged are different !! I cannot accept it !! I need a refund of £259.15 !!!!
I am going to take action on all the related and possible way to gain back my refund from the scams company HERTZ!!!!!!

Poor indifferent customer service. Shoddy regard to presenting vehicles. My £1000 for the weekend S Class had 3 major faults - one potentially dangerous. WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN

Premium rate number and no warning of it costing you until you see your phone bill. I was calling to rent the AMG C63 which after about 20 minutes of holding they answered and they don't actually have that car but they have it on their website so people still call in. No wonder why, they're making £25 off of me for enquiring about a car they never had in the first place. Will be fighting this to get my money back and one thing's for sure I'll never use this company again
