Since I moved to South London I use to rent a car from this branch for my photography trips. In the beginning I was a bit worried because of the bad reviews but I quickly change my mind after I met them. I never had a problem with the staff or with one of the cars I’ve got. They are always nice and always try to please you. Also the prices are cheaper than many others competitor.

Easy to book online. The van I rented was clean and great to drive. No opening hours on a Sunday and the check out process is a bit slow.

Good prices, but horrible service. Look up reviews on line for the horror stories of Europcar's customer service. Delivery was fine, and the car was great. But then they messed things up. First they failed to call ahead of collection, as they had promised online. Then they didn't show up. When I called - which took an long time, as the branch didn't like to answer the phone - they said their T&Cs allow them 8 hours to collect, and that I'm liable for parking until they do. The website clearly states my liability for parking is up to two hours only. So I left the keys in a secure place and told the branch. Five hours later, the collection guy rings up, wanting to know where the keys are. He couldn't get hold of the branch either. Lol. Then Europcar saw fit to charge an additional £15 to my credit card for delivery and collection, even though this had clearly been included in the original quote. To investigate their own billing failure will take "seven working days", during which time they're inappropriately holding my money. Overcharging seems to be a very common problem, judging from other comments online. Do yourself a massive favour and book with Enterprise instead. They're just up the street and you'll save yourself so much hassle.

lewisham decided to change the rental agreement when we collected the car. The customer service representative at Lewisham was unhelpful and rude in resolving our original agreement.
