Well located for my work needs and only a reasonable walk to the busier parts with more restaurants and bars. Large car park with good rates for guests. The food in the restaurant is good although the steak I tried wasn't the best. Burger was fantastic. The rooms have big TVs and other basic equipment in. Could I'm improve the showers though, maybe get rid of the baths!
It is in a great location, has a good sized car park, our room had a huge bed and a great view out to the pond. The room was a good size and had a tea and coffee station. The only issue we had was the ceiling of the bathroom was covered in black mold, but the rest of the room was clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again. Safety: Car park has a barrier in and out Walkability: Can easily walk to the heart of the west end only about 15-20min walk Noteworthy details: Right next to BP Marks and Spencer garage for any snacks
I frequently use this hotel, when I'm attending the Beatson. It has proved to be invaluable, since it is so close. The staff are always friendly, helpful and efficient and generally the hotel is excellent value. The buffet breakfast is also excellent, although someone could do with stirring the scrambled egg occasionally, to stop it congealing on top. In the whole scheme of things, that's a minor detail. The accessible rooms are large and comfy with great wet rooms and decent showers. The only issues that I have ever encountered here during my stays have been the odd rowdy guest returning to their rooms after consuming alcohol. That is something that is present in most places to be fair and nothing that the hotel is at fault for. I have always found it very comfortable and had pleasant stays here. I will no doubt return. Rooms: Accessible rooms are large, comfy and have great wet rooms with excellent showers. Nearby activities: Perfect for attending the Beatson. Walkability: 4 minute walk to the Beatson.
I stayed here for 3 nights, Rooms are a bit old and doesn’t have a welcoming feeling. Need some maintainable as a couple of furniture appear to be broken. Service wise the hotel is good, a bit on the outskirts of the city. Overall value for money but could have been better.
This hotel needs a full renovation. It's so tired and dated. The beds are terribly uncomfortable. I moved rooms once due to crater and popping springs in the bed - guests should not be booked into that room. I was then moved to another room which was 'better' but the carpet seemed to have a strong smell of pee, which of course filled the room, not escaping your senses through the night. Again this room should not be bookable. However, the staff were all lovely, some of the nicest customer service I'd seen in a while. This hotel really lets a great team down!
Very outdated. Doesn't look or smell the cleanest because everything is so old. Better not look at the carpets. It's reasonably cheap and the location is decent as well. Ideal for business accommodation. Bed was really uncomfortable and the sheets didn't fit. But the staff was really nice.Rooms: 2/5
Was staying while receiving treatment for 6 weeks and although the rooms are a little tired the service was exceptional, Scott and his team looked after me and my family when visiting like one of their own. Their good humour helped my hard days. The food was smashing and I don't think they could have done enough for me. Thank you Scott, Sydney shaun and the rest of you x Food & drinks: Food was great, ate here for 6 weeks and didn't exhaust the menu. Natasha is a fab chef
I can not sleep on a bed with springs digging in my back and wee stains on both mattress. The service staff are really kind which is a shame because the hotel is like a prison. On the first night my asthma triggered and that was because of how dusty everything was, not clean at all! I expected so much more from leonardo hotel. The food was nice that's another positive I can say.
The rooms has a few problems, hard pillows, toilet seat broken, no shower cap, temp of water more cold then warm, took my breathe away a few times, the shower has a shower curtain so much a yesterdays solution, should invest in shower panel. So the room was adequate. The food was good in the hotel just the focasia bread needs updating to a garlic bread perhaps, but that a personal preference.
Dirty bathrooms, tiles, bath door, filthy. Carpet smelt mouldy. No hand sanitizer n full inn... Definitely would stay here again. In urgent need of refurbishment and good cleanRooms: 1/5
