Great location to reach some of Lakelands less visited places. Hotel is a clean and tidy as are the grounds. Play park for the kids.  Good selection of beers and fantastic food. A very warm welcome awaits.

Pub budget accommodation.   Clean and comfortable.  Food very good.  Staff welcoming and informative about local area.  Ideally placed for exploring south lakes.

Been here a couple of times. This time was just for a drink. A nice traditional pub with a few traditional ales on tap. Never seems to be very busy but when we ate here last time I had the best chicken meal ever. Worth a visit for good homely food.

We came twice in the weekend we were here. And I would highly recommend this place to anybody. The food is out of this world and if like my wife you a fussy eater this amazing chef more than accommodated. The staff are very welcoming and pleasant an all round quailty place.

We stopped here on our way to Scotland and we were met with a really warm welcome from the barmaid. Even though it had just passed 8:30 when they finished food, they didn't mind us ordering. The food was good and well priced. Out of courtesy we asked if we could stay in the carpark for the night and this was fine.
