My husband and myself visited on a Friday night, very busy but we were seated very quickly. The menu was extensive, the waitress superb and the meal was excellent, nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be going again and would absolutely recommend it. First class.

Good value bar/restaurant just outside of Kendal town centre. Cosy, lively, friendly, large garden, children's play area & car park. The food is good especially the carvery. The beer is excellent, the staff are cheerful & friendly. Well worth a visit.

It's a very busy place on a night have to book a table to avoid disappointment! We stayed here and it was nice but the pub on a night was quiet could hear a pin drop not suitable for a noise bunch that like a laugh! Over all the place was good food was really nice! Room was brilliant very quirky staff were really nice and attentive! It's not a place i would come back to as it just wasn't my cup of tea but the place is gorgeous and they do a mean carvery!!

My wife and I called in for the Sunday carvery. The place & staff was welcoming and prompt in taking our order. The food was of good quality ( not the usual dried out stuff found at some other carvery pubs ) There is also a varied selection of real ales. I only give 5stars to anything/where that goes above and beyond expectation but happy to recommend this establishment to anyone with nothing found on our brief visit to suggest much improvement is needed.

Visiting Kendal from afar, we took a punt on Romneys after a quick look on TripAdvisor... What a treat this place is, honestly, best meal I've had out in a long time, the food was awesome, the service matched it and the prices are good.. What more could you ask for? Oh, out back they've got an amazing, covered, kids play area too...
