What a great place. Arrived here today, we have a lodge on the same site. Polly greeted us, fantastic host and explained everything and walked us around where we are staying. The pub is fantastic. Had a couple of pints and booked a meal for later. The food, if you haven't guessed is amazing. Great atmosphere and great decor. I would love this to be my local. Highly recommended if your in the area for a visit.
Amazing experience here at Romneys!! The staff are unbelievably friendly, going above and beyond with their service.nnOur food was delicious, we got the salt and pepper burger and the veggie lasagne, we finished every bit.nnWe highly recommend coming here. Victoria was our server and she was amazing!nnThank you for a great experience!
Romneys is a great place. I’ve stayed here twice now when I’m Kendal for events.nWe’ve used the little two bedroom apartments they have and they’re all you need and more. Lovely accommodation.nnAnd the pub itself is very good too. All the staff always spot on and the food is tremendous.nnThe burgers are the hit for me, the dirty burger and the Agnes burger. And sticky toffee pudding!!nSo if you’re looking for somewhere for a drink, or food, or a place to stay, Romneys can sort you out.nnApparently they do a great Sunday roast too and always looks busy so book a table for that I’d suggest.

The best meal on our mini break by far. Good food, service, well priced - and the sweet shop martini was incredible! We can't recommend this place enough.
