The New inn has become a great friendly place I was put off with the last landlords with there attitude towards me and some clients I support.But knaw they are welcomed and almost expected on a Thursday night as we go for a game of pool sometime's

Superb pub, friendly staff, great pint they looked after us through the snow. Looking forward to heading back up to Kendal soon and will defiantly calling in once again.

Looked a nice welcoming pub but after ordering drinks and tried to pay with a Scottish £20 note we felt very unwelcome as the barman refused to accept our money as he apparently had trouble in the past,we didn't bother ordering food as didn't have enough English notes.Same barman thinks nothing of patting dogs and immediently serve drinks etc without washing hands.Unfortunatly we are 4 seniors who won't  be visiting again.
