The Factory Tap is a gem, especially for dog owners. It boasts a fantastic beer selection with plenty of quality ales and craft options, and the brilliant, spacious outdoor seating is covered, making it perfect in any weather. The fact that it's genuinely dog-friendly, with welcoming staff, makes it a highly recommended spot we'll definitely be returning to.
Stupidly popular on a nice Friday evening. Slow service, long queues and no obvious way of seeing what ales are on beer board please. Nice beer when you visit on a less busy day.
Lovely real ale bar in Kendall. Nice chilled vibe inside and good set up outside. Loads of ales on. I had half a pale as I was driving but it was full of flavour which is rare for a relatively low abv ale. There’s a curious work bench/table of some sort which is a mystery to the landlord. Pints on him if you can tell him what it was originally used for. Dog friendly and occasionally has food from pop up trucks. Recommended.
Such a convivial atmosphere in here with both the bar staff and the regulars. The beer was superb, the brisk walk back to the station was 10 minutes. Do look look out for Tap Takeovers if you like to try something new.
Popped in twice on a stay in Kendal recently . Bank Holiday visit the outside area was full and food van was busy . Food looked nice but we just had beer . Second occasion ,mid week cold night . Busy inside ,nice feel about it . Im not an ale drinker but good selection all round
