Part if the Brewery Arts Charity, The VATS bar is the main bar, with giant VATS cut in half with seating and a round table inside. A good selection of beer and ales. Whilst you can get pizzas here, a more substantial menu is in the adjoining Grain Store Restaurant. Downside is it is quite possibly the most expensive place in Kendal to buy a beer and despite having plenty staff behind the bar, service us usually very slow. Well worth a visit and a good place to start, but for a night out, there are better and cheaper offerings.
