The nurses are fabulous at this surgery and book my follow up appointments. Phoning to get an appointment is virtually impossible. The repeat perscription service is dreadful. Last month I was going to be on holiday when repeat perscription was due, so asked if I could have them a few days early, the request was ignored and had to phone up and chase 2 days before my holiday. I now have a a note saying I need a review I phoned for an appointment any was told they would contact me....no contact, again placed a request to have perscription released and disappeared of the system so second month where I have to chase.....Shocking
Terrible service, I have been ringing for the last 4 days to get an emergency appointment and they purposely keep the phones off in the morning to make sure no one calls in. After they finally open the lines they claim all appointments are fully booked? So bad to think we’re paying national insurance for this. They keep sending me to 111 which is another headache. Why can’t I just see my GP.
Since covid 19 pandemic started, we have never been able to make an appointment! Every time I called, they told me that they don't have any appointments available and to call another day. But of course I get the same answer no matter what day I call or how many times I call! Basically we have GP only in name because they don't do anything to help, they stayed with the same method from during the pandemic, they saw that the period went well, that there was no longer such great madness and agglomeration for them and they said to continue, but probably they didn't know that the pandemic is over and they should return to the schedule before the pandemic started. They only know how to direct you to call 111 or go to a walking center, but even there they have the same problem and send you back to the GP you belong to, because the GP SHOULD MAKE YOU AN APPOINTMENT AT LEAST FOR A CONSULTATION! The services are very bad from this GP, I will file a complaint regarding this because it does not seem normal to me that in 3 years, every time I called them, I could not make an appointment!
Anytime I need a doctors appointment I feel like I’m on a blacklist of being told they have no appointments available if I call at 9 am they put the phone down when your first in the system occasionally they will switch the telephone off til 945am then say its this or it’s that and on several occasions and counting you could be in a queue and be given the option to receive a call back and they never phone back when I asked the receptionist why I never got a phone call back I was told the system is broken, I have mental health problems and it’s vital I see my doctor and almost every time I’m referred to using the 111 service which takes up more spending and workforce than what it would to be seen by my own doctor. The place really needs to be under measures to cater for all of its patients . I hate having to be told or made out like my time with the doctor isn’t important.as others by a receptionist that sounds like a record playing.
They are the worst. They did not inform us if they would accept the payment cash or card. After getting there we were told they will take cash only that too only exact £42 as they do not have change. They are the worst GP surgery I have ever been to. They are disrespectful towards patients and have no empathy at all.
Why when it's past the time they open. After calling 84 times to get through, phone rings and you get cut off! 111 trys to communicate with this surgery and some how gets missed. They blame 111. Stating there release of appointments are apparently always open.
They don’t diserve any star at all,I can’t make any appointments last few days for my kids,if I had a chance to move,I don’t like to write those reviews but I had no choice the way they treat people is not nice?
I understand surgeries are facing tough times. But I had a blood test and was asked to call back a week later, when I did I waited in a queue for 45 min this despite requesting ring back twice with no joy. I then chose a different option which put me through to the receptionist who informed me the automated line had not been working for some days. I asked if she could just give me the results. She tried but could not make head nor tail of them. There were no GP’s or nurses to speak to so she said I should call back in a week.. let’s hope it’s nothing serious. Awful
If your new to the area and looking for a doctors surgery then don't stop here. One star rating is being nice cannot give zero! if you actually get through after 50 calls and being on hold for half hour to get an appointment you will be told to call back next day. If your actually lucky and get through at 08:45 the next day, you will still be told there are no appointments and to call back again. Absolutely terrible service who are supposed to be there to protect your health.
Reception staff are poor if you ever get through to them, they have an attitude. Can’t get an appointment here for the last 2 years, I’ve had to pay private doctors several times. If you do get to see a doctor here they fob you off without checking you over properly. They keep sending me text messages to book a medical checkup but I can’t get an appointment anyway.
