I have been a patient at the Medici Medical Centre for 10 years and it has been consistently the best surgery I have ever registered with. I recently had an health issue and I called at 8:30 and got in line which meant I was 3rd in the queue. The receptionist took my name and problem and told me to expect a call back from the doctor who ordered blood tests. This has been my consistent experience. Polite receptionist, well organised appointments both by phone or in person. I am very grateful for their work.
Not recommended. They will always tell you no appointment and they don't pick calls . I called and reported a chest pain , the receptionist said call 111 , we are fully booked. No appointment again for today. I even suggested a phone call from the doctor, she said sorry we are fully booked. Have never seen a surgery as worst as Medici in my life. They don't always care
If I can put 0 i would. GP reception is disgusting. If the GP opens at 8:00 and this is when people usually make appointments, why am I being told that it's for emergencies only such as a Heart Attack! Why would someone be calling the GP if they think they are having a Heart Attack. If that is the case change the times on online to 08:30. Receptionist's are rude and have no compassion or understanding. It's already hard to get appointments as it is let alone getting through to speak to someone just to hear that. Absolute JOKE.
I was register with this surgery last year and faced so much trouble .But recently i found Ms Karren Martin,she is the one who always helped and try to solved issues as much as she could. She is very humble and helpful. May God always blesses her.
The absolute worse surgery you can go to!! Currently i have symptoms near that of a chest infection and when I spoke to one of the nurses, Nurse Anne specifically she was downright rude!! Straight off the bat she had an attitude and sounded like she could not be bothered to understand what symptoms I experienced. After explaining to her, she had the audacity to tell me that what I was saying "didnt add up". And that she "didnt agree" with how I was explaining my symptoms. While speaking I requested a doctors note so I could prove to my Univeristy about a missed assignment and any absences I would have due to being unwell. I explained my Uni will not accept a SC1 certificate and she repeatedly told me "how many times do i have to explain you need an SC1" talking down to me as if I was an infant !! And to top it off I explained the way she dealt with my enquiries was unprofessional and she told me she did not like my attitude and proceeded to terminate the call before I was done speaking !! Do not waste your time with this useless surgery.
Inpolite reception, unprofessional staff that I had to give a lesson to about not shouting out my details in front of a full waiting room. Personal data is a myth here. Plenty of past competent staff who should be working elsewhere and NOT in an environment where compassion, patience, respect and understanding is needed.. No cueing up system leads to cue jumping and accusations of cue jumping and reception staff that take no notice of you No acknowledgement what so ever.. No notice to say which staff are available or even which counter to stand at. The ONLY skills the reception staff here have is the skill to avoid eye contact incase YOU take that as a cue to ask a question. I hate having to go here. Appointments are 7 weeks from the date made it took me 4 week's of daily, morning calls only to find appointments taken within minit's of the phone lines opening- i had to call a Luton Charity who made an appointment for me and THAT was still a 7week wait!!.. If they reply with ''thank you for your feedback'' then take it they don't give a Shizz to your thoughts.. my comment is very similar although much longer to many others dating back over 5 YEARS!!.. and no changes have been made! These apparent care profecianal's do NOT care.
my experience at this practice was awful the way i was spoken to was unbelievably shocking the lady on the phone/nurse called Audre had the most uncalled for attitude saying she wasn’t bothered to wait a for an appointment that was already scheduled and seemingly wanted to cram her patients so she can leave early. CQC must be informed considering all these terrible reviews that have been put up.
This is a joke not a medical practice. To get appointment you have to call them straight in the morning and you have to be quick to get in which is very hard, but mostly there is is some issue with line and you will be not connected at all. I spoke with receptionist that ive been trying to get appointment from over 3 weeks but no one even call me back . In 90% appointments are over the phone and they diagnosed you without presents.... I been diagnosed wrong with wrong medication twice...I ask staff members about complain procedure but they didn't gave me any answer how to contact with manager or where to put complain . Absolute joke.
Some of the receptionist believe they’re better than a doctor and especially one lady who’s always angry, rude and disrespectful. Shouting at people and treat them really bad. There is a guy who actually can help us but he’s also probably scared of his colleagues. Horrible service anyway
Excellent facilities, fast service, friendly staff. I very much enjoyed my visit to the Medici medical centre for my treatment. Would be happy to return again.
