I didn’t really want to make this review as the first Initial greeting was great, Paul couldn’t be any nicer and I was very happy with the car I was selecting. I pointed out a few faults in the vehicle rust under the paint, marks on the roof and chips on the boot. And when I collected the vehicle, everything seemed fine. I then got home and found more rust under the paint and the bonnet handle snapped off it was glued on all of these things weren’t a huge problem but wasn’t great, then a knocking noise in the front suspension started, this got worse and worse as the days went on and I couldn’t drive the car without getting worried this is a 15 year old vehicle, I understand that there will be faults! but because this is under warranty and I haven’t even had the vehicles for more than 3 weeks, this meant the issue was already present according to the RAC. I then went to 3 garages and they all told me it’s the top suspension mount that has gone wrong and that the issue was present for a while as this issue just doesn’t happen in a few weeks. I rang G5 CARS , I got no apology, just a “bring it back to us” the garage is almost 2 hours away and there’s a serious fault and the garage told me I shouldn’t be driving it until it’s fixed not to mention this is a £160 fix! I told them this, they didn’t seem to care, just kept telling me to bring the car back to the dealership. I explained it isn’t safe for me to do so, they just said “you’ve got breakdown cover, you’ll be fine” , this isn’t the point, why would I put myself and other road users at risk? The man at the garage wanted to speak to him, the dealership man just laughed at said “no I don’t want to speak to them, just bring it back”. Issue after issue, they also made a sly remark about my expectations being too high for a old vehicle, I was happy to just forget the other issues, but this one was serious and a massive red flag for a car I’ve just had a few weeks. Just bear this in mind when going to them, as I am done dealing with them.
When buying a car the staff are helpful and friendly. The after sales is non existent. We had to sort out the car's problems ourselves, it certainly hadn't been serviced as promised. We had to apply to the DVLA directly for the VC5 as despite calling and emailing G5 numerous times, and them promising they had applied for it, it never arrived. I would not use them again.

Just bought our second car from G5 cars, always great service, helpful & a great car at a good price. Came back as the last car was great & served us well. They are RAC approved, so gives us extra confidence, car was serviced, full MOT, RAC warranty, RAC breakdown, much more than any others offered us & all included. Can't go wrong here with G5 Cars
Cars are in good condition and drives well. Employees have great personality and the manager Paul is the best. I would recommend G5 cars to my friends which I have already done.
