I remember High Street Ken's tube in the 80s whith Barker's and also British Home Stores department store's there was also Marks and Spencers. But the main attraction for me was Kensington indoor market and Hyper Hyper across the road. It was full of designers, students and alternative looking people.
Extremely poor service. Train just stopped and changed direction and locked the doors. Only informed us after the doors were locked that it's no longer going to Paddington. Missed my last train out of London after a full day of work. Absolutely no regard for customers and extremely unsafe at night.
Brings back memories of college days. This underground station has changed so much. Its an over ground with nice decor. Plenty of eateries, and a nice mix of shops in the area.
