A station near Hyde park and its playground. 123 steeps to platform on foot. Of course they have also lifts.
t was the definition of terrible. We were on holiday and needed to catch our bus. The three of us thought it would be easy to use the underground, but we were so wrong. Most of the signs were covered up by stickers. A nice guy helped us get to our train, but it was so full that he got in and we got pushed out. We took the next one and nearly caught our bus. Bless that guy.
Nice station that is busy most of the time there are two lifts from the ticket hall area to the bottom of the station then there is stairs to both platforms. Currently there is only 1 lift working. There is 123 steps from the ticket hall to the bottom of the station its a long way down & up. This station is clean & tidy with regular Central line trains from here.
Very handy tube station near Paddington
Very few tube stations warrant of 5 star rating and this is no exception. Closest to Kensington Palace, this deep station requires use of the lifts or very tough calf muscles, there are over 100 stairs for the mega fit to try. As normal, virtually no seating for waiting passengers but at least the trains are frequent. Busy in the middle section of the Central line but lighter footfall at either end. Great for getting through the middle of London.
