Something to be considered is that there are two Hammersmith stations 150 metres apart. To access the one serving the district and piccadilly line go to the Broadway shopping centre where there are several entrances. The other station marks the start of the metropolitan and circle lines the photos are from that one.
A fantastic venue, offering access to Underwood for the District & Piccadilly lines as well as all area bus routes. Apart from these, on the ground floor of the station, there is a mall with several shops for shopping.nAll this in the center of Hammersmith, probably the most commercial part of west London
The petite Asian lady is so rude. My little sister lost her Oyster card. I could not buy her a ticket because I didn’t have my wallet on me. I was let through at Holloway Road. I get to Hammersmith and she tries to keep my little sister beside her because she doesn’t have a ticket. She is a 13 year old little girl. She was visibly upset and I had to assure her from the other side of the barrier that it’s okay. She tells me to buy a ticket for her - I told her I would but I don’t have my wallet, but I’ve paid my fare using contactless and my sister is waiting for her replacement… the other station had NO PROBLEM WITH THIS. I asked her what happens next. If she wanted to fine me, I’d have been fine with that. Cut the rubbish out and don’t keep my sister beside you during our chat? She let us go. The principle is, it’s fine to ask me to buy a ticket for her or to fine me if I can’t, I won’t argue with that, but do not keep a 13 year old girl beside you away from me whilst instructing me to get her a ticket whilst I’m on the other side of the barrier. Absolutely ludicrous. Shout out to the Holloway Road staff!
Shout out to the staff for helping me out massively today with my family’s oyster cards! Non excluded! All 6 souls I spoke to helped so much! Happy to be a local resident and get to see them daily now!nThanks guys!!!
I am deeply disappointed with the manager at Hammersmith Station. Recently, an injured bird was left to die at the station despite offers of help from a local wildlife rescue. The manager refused assistance simply because he doesn't like pigeons. This lack of compassion is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the station's management.
