I WOULD GIVE ZERO STAR IF I COULD!!!!! AVOID AT ALL COST!!!!!!! Be prepared to wait at the counter for ar least 2 hours to get your car! Ridiculously slow and incompetent staff. We came at 10am when it was open and there was a huge queue but there was only one staff available. The second staff only came one hour later! (Yes of course it was Sunday and it was a busy time near Christmas so they decided to have less staff! Or the staff just wanted to sleep for a bit longer...) I would rather pay more for AVIS than using Europcar. The company policy is insufficient. Basically they asked us to provide a bank statement or a house bill to prove the address WITHOUT informing us in advance. There was nothing like that mentioned in the email. WHO WOULD BRING A HOUSEHOLD BILL WHEN TRAVELLING? They threatened us to remove the booking as we didn't have the statement. In the end, the staff REFUSED TO SERVE US and went to serve another customer. We later on showed them the address on our bank app in our phone but had to wait for ages before getting a car because it was a bank app that we just logged in showing in front of them not a statement! (Of course it wasn't valid, ridiculously!!!!!) And please don't trust Dave or whoever from the customer service team, they are useless and not gonna do anything. We have complained so many times but nothing has been done. ( I have to admit that we were a bit easy to give them another try, never again!!!) GOOD LUCK if you rent a car with them!!!! I will NEVER come back to Europcar ever again!

Same old story. Returned a car perfectly fine, man made us sign an empty return/condition sheet (in hindsight a rookie mistake), refused to give us our copy and then a month later we get an email with said return/condition sheet attached and filled in showing some damage. Appreciate there isn't a great deal of choice but a warning to not sign anything unless you're certain you'll get your copy and make sure it's filled in saying "No damage" or something...

We had an outstanding experience with Europcar @ LCY for our trip to Wales over NYE. We had a space issue with our rented car and managed to get upgraded to a bigger car. Thanks Rodney for the friendly and helpful service. We will be coming back!

Have taken a car from these guys a few times now and I must say that, overall, the people working there have always been exceptionally polite and accommodating, and a pleasure to talk to. Special thanks to Rodney who I took a car from in late October! Highly commendable customer service and a joy to deal with.

*DO NOT USE THEM* Disgraceful service. Rude and surly attitudes. Car not available for 2 hours after the booked time. I was blatantly lied to by the staff member in order to increase the rental amount and when I contacted Europcar about it the response was ‘it’s not our problem’. I will never use Europcar again and I am making moves to remove them from my company’s authorised services list.
