Had a lovely meal this evening. Service was great, couldn’t fault it, the girl on the front and around the till a bit was lovely. The kitchen was really busy with just 2 chefs on so food was quite slow to arrive. In fairness they turned away a half dozen walk-ins while we were there so they were aware of it and I’m sure trying to push out orders as fast as possible.
If you’re looking for something to do with your work teams or group of friends, you need to try the Pizza Making Party! So much fun and our lovely pizza making teacher Jay, was brilliant and made the whole experience so much fun, especially with our very own moustaches Food: 5/5
I’ve been here many times. They do nice pizza, but sometimes the quality isn’t consistent, so like you can get a great pizza on one weekend, but the next weekend it’s not the same quality/taste the dough sometimes tastes a bit stale or ingredients can be bit bland, but all in all, a good pizza in Liffey Valley especially compared to other options around the shopping/food area.
Arrived here on a Thursday lunchtime. Ordered starter of aranchini and a pizza to arrive at the same time and we were in a rush to the airport. The waitress was attentive and professional. The food arrived and the starter was luke warm and probably was frozen, had to leave half of it as inedible. The pizza was good and done the job. The waitress was good to point out that Milanos were doing an offer of all pizzas being €9.99 if you download their app. I had a 20% off code so was happy that her offer was better value.
Visited Liffey Valley Milano a couple times over the years, always consistent with quality of food, service. Vegan menu is thoughtfully crafted and so is the main menu. Delish romano pizza’s. Had the Sloppy Vegan Romano pizza, dough balls doppacio- hummus could have been better had hint of peanuts after taste for me, tomato dip was amazing, chicken wings was perfectly grilled and spiced well. Restaurant manager was welcoming , entire team was attentive and polite.
The pizzas are simply delicious, with top-notch ingredients and flavors Plus, the ambience for dining in is just right.Food: 5/5
Really can't complain about the food as it was lovely but the service was so slow. I arrived with an hour and 15 mins to spare before we had to leave to see a movie and still had to leave without the kids getting their desert which was included on the offer. Manager was very apologetic to a table next to us as one person got their food atleast 20 mins before everyone else yet not apologies made to us.
We had an extremely disappointing experience at Milano's in Liffey Valley on 21st July 2024. From the moment we arrived, the service was appalling. The waiter at the door, who took our names, was unfriendly and it was clear he hated his job. Despite this, we sat down with our three kids and proceeded to order from the kids' menu, which included a babycino as part of the meal. We were informed by our waitress that the coffee machine was broken. When we asked what we could get instead, she had to fetch the manager for this simple query. Another staff member, who appeared shocked by our question, told us we would have to pay the same price without a substitute for the babycino. After expressing our need for a drink for the kids, he went to get the manager again – although he was supposed to be the manager himself. The next person to come over was the same unfriendly individual who had greeted us at the door and brought us the menus. When we enquired about an alternative to the babycino, his response was defensive and rude. He sarcastically offered to run into Butler's to get some hot milk, and when we agreed, he became even more sarcastic. Eventually, we settled on sharing one Sprite among our three kids. When I suggested he should improve his attitude, he became even more defensive, rude, and aggressive. He repeatedly threatened to cancel our order, creating an uncomfortable and hostile environment for my family. Due to his continued aggression, we decided to leave the restaurant, much to the disappointment of our hungry children. Our evening out, which we had eagerly anticipated, was ruined. We have enjoyed dining at Milano's in Galway multiple times, but this single negative experience has left us determined never to visit Milano's again. We even advised another family to avoid dining there, and they chose to leave as well after hearing our experience. This individual should not be in a customer-facing role, as his disdain for his job and disrespect towards customers is evident. I hope the management addresses this behaviour seriously. No customer should have to endure such treatment.
Food was amazing! Myself and my boyfriend love going here this is one of the restaurants we always go to. Service was quick. Staff was friendly. Parking: Liffey Valley car park, loads of spaces. Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome. Atmosphere is PG!
Location is good, staffs are very nice, food are delicious! Definitely will come back again. Parking: A huge car park at Liffey Valley, loads of spaces, very handy.
