Spent a fantastic few days here. Very friendly service. Brad was charming at check in, as was, the helpful door man. Nice rooms, we had one problem with the bath, that was fixed quickly. Great views and would definitely recommend. Fabulous parking which let me move around back and forth from the University of Liverpool. Walkability: Easy to get around
We went here with our two kids and the main reason we chose this hotel was the swimming pool and spa area. Unfortunately, it was a big disappointment that children were only allowed certain times and even during their time they were only allowed in a small part of the facility not allowed in the hot tub nor the saunas. There could have been information about this before booking! The room was fresh and clean but no fridge in the room and no ice available. Except for that the hotel is fine with acceptable walking distance to the city centre and Royal Albert Dock!
I don't have anything negative to say about my stay. Onsite parking was a massive perk for me. I told the reception I had brought a car with me. They put my car registration in and I was good to leave and enter the car park as many times as I needed during my stay. That was really handy. They had a pool and gym that was free to use, included in your room rate, which was surprisingly difficult to find around Liverpool. The pool was decent, and had a jacuzzi. Breakfast was also good.
For me this is an outstanding hotel. Fabulous location with a car park. The hotel has a gym, sauna, steam room and 25 mtr swimming pool and it is close to everything you want that's important. It is situated next door to the Liver Building and has lovely views of the River Mersey. I visited this hotel in August 2024 when there were a minority of people creating fear with rioting in the country and the threat of one in Liverpool. The staff member was absolutely wonderful, he told me of the procedure if a riot should happen near to the hotel which it didn't he was so lovely he gave me and my friends peace of mind. I can't praise him enough. All the staff, including the barman, were exceptional. I will definitely choose this hotel whenever I stay in Liverpool in the future.
We were a 5 group spread across 3 rooms, travelling up to the south to show my partners American Aunt Liverpool and the Beatles. Rooms, location, breakfast, bar everything were great and with parking too!! Have to give a big shout out to Brad Bradley. He answered the phone to us the previous day and also checked us in. Brad was incredibly helpful and friendly, certainly went the extra mile on customer service helping to arrange our rooms and with advice on our stay! Thanks again Brad!. Rooms: Clean, good size, good view. Nearby activities: Loads and loads to do, see, eat and drink. Walkability: Perfect location for the best of Liverpool centre. Food & drinks: Great choice all round.
We went to a wedding there and it was amazing. The staff were lovely, friendly, professional and nothing was too much bother. Food was brilliant. The room we stayed in was comfortable, clean, everything you needed and extra room around the room for me ad I have walking aids. Breakfast was lovely with plentynof choice. Rooms: Very clean, comfortable and had everything you needed. Tea coffee facilities, robea, iron iron board etc. Walkability: Within walking distance to Albert Dock, shops, bars and restaurants. Public transport close by Food & drinks: Drinks slightly pricey, but you are right on the Albert Dock and city centre of Liverpool. Food was gorgeous and plenty of choice.
The Crown Plaza Liverpool City Centre is an amazing place to stay. The location is brilliant - walking distance to most attractions or a short cab ride and a quick trip from the train station. On arrival we were met by the first helpful and friendly person - Mark - nothing was too much trouble and our check in was super easy and enjoyable. We also found the rooms to be extra clean and spacious. When we had dinner at their restaurant the food was excellent and the service was again wonderful. Again nothing was too much trouble. We were especially lucky to have Aine serving our table with her help and delightful personality. I would highly recommend the Crown Plaza Liverpool City Crntre.
Stunning views of the Liver building and the waterfront. However the room was boiling even with Aircon on, the carpet as stained, and the bath didn't drain away after my partner took a shower before we went out which didn't drain away and reached his calves. He had to go to the front desk that sent up and engineer who whacked the plug it's a tilting drain cap mechanism with a hammer to turn it open. It a known fault in most of the rooms; limescale we were told. It was sorted, albeit it was incredibly slow to drain away. Then it happened again the next morning. We only stayed one night, but this would be an annoyance and inconvenience if we stayed longer. The room just looked like it needed refreshing. And considering the price, it's a disappointment, plus the encouragement to reuse wet towels and lack of toiletries. The staff were lovely and incredibly friendly though, cannot fault them.
Absolutely fantastic location. Modern hotel with very functional rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff. Solid food and drinks. The gym, pool and sauna facilities are fantastic, but tend to get quite busy at times since they are semi-public. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and would strongly recommend the hotel.
Was in an excellent location for the waterfront, the city centre and the cruise terminal. The service was good as was the breakfast with a good choice of both continental, cereals and hot food with tables cleared very quickly.Rooms: 5/5
