Room was cold. Glass bathroom where you can watch the other person  go to the toilet n shower. Rock hard beds. TV did not work and plugs are faulty meaning my phone could not charge. Would not stay here again. Only perks is that the pillows are nice.Rooms: 1/5

Small rooms but so clean and welcoming, if you just want a bed for the night in a well kept and modern room then this is your place. Shower was fab, bed comfortable and staff fantastic. The brand is fast becoming my new place to stay for a central city break.

Staff friendly, I was offered a free upgrade as a, z hotel member& received a free glass of wine. Was noisy throughout the night, what I have never experienced before having stayed at this hotel several times, so hardly slept. Not hotels fault just rude people which you wouldn't expect on a Monday night. Still excellent price, clean room handy fir everything, the green light on ceiling also kept me awake

The Queen room was spotless & extremely comfortable.  The hotel is in a perfect location for sightseeing & literally a stones throw from The Cavern club on Mathew street. The receptionist 'Emily' remembered me from my previous visit in October.  She is a diamond ,so professional, helpful & her main aim is that you have a wonderful stay at The Z hotel in Liverpool . Thanks Emily,see you again

Stayed here a few years ago and was excellent, but so disappointing this time around. Everything looking tatty - mould in shower, scuffs and dirt on all the furniture, sticky tv remote. Room looked very well used and pretty gross. Paid an extra £35 for a window, window absolutely filthy. Give it a miss.

Excellent hotel. The room was  a bit on the small side but you get what you pay. Very clean and the staff was very pleasant and helpful. Would visit again but i would upgrade to a bigger room with window.

Good location: in city centre, near The Cavern Club and the bus stop to Anfield stadium, leisurely 15 minutes walk to the Magical Mystery Tour starting point. Super friendly and helpful staff. Room's rather small though.Rooms: 2/5

I’d say it’s between 3-4, but more tempted to give it a 3. Location is convenient, with friendly staff and clean rooms. Yet the room has only one UK power socket plus one EU socket, luckily the reception was able to provide extension leads. Sink in bathroom was easy to be blocked. Wi-Fi connection is very slow and unstable. Would probably not choose again.

Staff were very friendly and helpful . Great location and super cheap. Shower was absolutely brilliant Rooms: 5/5

Small room, but very comfortable, spotlessly clean and brilliant staff. Breakfast is continental pay as you go. Highly recommendedRooms: 5/5
