Had such a great time staying here! The staff were super friendly, especially the night crew—they really went out of their way to make sure I was taken care of. The building is so cool, full of history and character, which made it feel special. My room was clean and had everything I needed. It’s also a great deal for what you get! Only downside is the parking is a bit far, so it’s better if you’re coming by train or public transport. But honestly, I’d totally stay here again!
Wonderful decor, preserved from the original building architecture. Nicely presented rooms. Lacking in a little light. I know at times on a dirty weekend you might not want much light. However, trying to find your socks at 4 in the morning when you’re at work at 5, a light with a switch, for when you don’t want to see the details after a night out, would be useful.
We partied here for a small wedding reception before the destination wedding. It was cute and cosy. I would make few comments 1 lights at night was pure white. This should probably change to something softer? 2 BBQ wings and samosa was good. The food was served in a room adjacent 3 staff are very friendly and helpful 4 toilet is downstairs. So we took the lift down and walked towards the toilet. But it was no problem!
Such a beautiful hotel! The building is amazing there is so much history and the reception and bar area were open and spacious. Check in was easy, the gentlemen receptionist with glasses was very friendly and helpful! Our room on the 6th floor was so big and the bed was huge! Super comfy and welcoming, lots of nice tea and coffee in the room and virtually silent corridors which was amazing for a good nights sleep. Really highly recommend, we didn’t get a chance to check out the bar so hopefully we will be back soon for the whole experience!
As part of a weekend trip to Liverpool, a friend and I spent a night in a twin room in the Aloft, having read positive reviews and comments about the hotel. In general, the comments reflect the experience. The staff were welcoming, and were happy to take our bags prior to check-in. The room itself was clean, and it had all of the amenities that would you would find at most hotels, so in that respect, we had no issues. If I had to nitpick, a couple of issues stood out. For anyone sharing with a friend, be aware of the fact that the bathroom door does not lock, and there is a 1 inch gap between the door and the wall. So if you position yourself correctly, then you can easily see someone sat on the toilet/in the shower. We had no issues with this, but obviously that depends on the person. The second issue was the amount of noise that could be heard through the door. We spent the Saturday night around the local bars, so an early morning start was the last thing on our mind. However, you could hear pretty much everything through the door. The lift, people walking by, and the cleaner knocking on doors and asking if people were in there. So once I was awake, that was it, I couldn't sleep. Overall, it was clean, had everything we needed, and the location was great. But just be aware of the two minor issues mentioned above!
Wonderful hotel with very helpful friendly staff. Massive room and bathroom. Nice and quiet and ideally situated for bars and shops. Great selection at breakfast. Would highly recommend you use this hotel when next in Liverpool I know we will.Rooms: 5/5
The structure of the building is very old by in use as a hotel from 2014. The rooms are specious and convenient. The bathroom doors would be better if it is closed in proper way rather than sliding for privacy. The Aircondition is plus for the hotel but unfortunately it was broken down for few days and no advantage to stay in summer without it. Staff are friendly and polite but they have limit authority to help for fixing something or act as responsible. The location is ideal for city center, attractions and ferry activities Rooms: Specious Nearby activities: Few minutes to Liverpool one, city center and the ferry and sea activities.
Returned to Aloft to stay for Taylor Swift. As usual we had a brilliant time! The room was spacious and clean and the food and atmosphere in the bar was amazing. All the staff did brilliant even though they were really busy. Always so friendly and helpful. Love this hotel and will be back!
We held our wedding here in the beautiful James Doyle suite. Everything was perfect. The staff were amazing and made sure our day was perfect. The rooms were lovely too. There is so much choice at breakfast also! I highly recommend Aloft Liverpool. Rooms: Rooms are decent sizes and air conditioned. We had a fridge in ours and the bed was huuuugggeee Nearby activities: All kinds Walkability: Bang in the centre of Liverpool. Close to all shops, bars, museums etc. Food & drinks: There is so much choice for breakfast. It's self serve and you can choose anything from cereal, toast, pastries, full English, muffins, charcuterie board. You can even make your own pancakes! Vegetarian and vegan options are also available.
Pending reviewReviewed Couldn't fault the location for what we were looking for. Hotel itself is a little dated and could probably do with a facelift but it was great and clean. Had a great sleep when we eventually got in after a night out. Breakfast looked like it had a decent amount of choice. We're not really breakfast people, so didn't have much but it looked nice. Staff were so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the area and where to go, shout out to Sam & Lee/Leigh I can't remember the spelling now they are both great guys. Would definitely come back when next in Liverpool.
