First time of staying here. Great location, just small walk to the hub of pubs, restaurants and night life. Great welcome, staff friendly, quick and easy check on/out. Comfortable areas to sit and relax in the lounge area . Room was great, clean, smelt like fresh lemons every time we walked into it. Comfortable. No problems with noise. Great, will book this one again, next time we visit.
This hotel is dated but the service makes up for it. The ladies working in the lobby were so kind, helpful and welcoming! The rooms are fine, nothing special. Comfortable enough. It's the two ladies that made the stay great! Rooms: Comfy enough. You get what you pay for. Walkability: Walking distance to center
Hotel is in a great location, perfectly placed for Matthew Street and everything is in walking distance. The hotel is very quiet and although our room was small it was fine as we weren't in it that much. We travelled by train from London and the station was a 10 minute walk. Lots of food places nearby and a handy Tesco next door. Planning on booking another stay here at the end of the year.
Excellent place to stay when you are in Liverpool. The staff are top notched, polite, professional and helpful. The rooms are huge and clean. Perfect stay. They even give a welcome drink to all guests! Perfect start!
Stayed here 3 times now and will recommend to anyone. Not the cheapest in Liverpool but when you take into account the location, cheap car parking and a very comfy bed it's certainly worth the money. Upgraded to a premium room last stay and definitely worth the extra few £££. Much more room, nice coffee machine, dressing gowns and iron all in the room and lot more space to spread out and relax.
They don't have a refrigerator inside of the rooms!!! They don't even accept our food in their refrigerator!!! What the hell is going on. The reason?!! Health and safety regulations... Ridiculous!! I was in Ibis budget London Heathrow last night and they accepted. In a day they make a rule. I have diabetes and need to have some food always with me... I informed them but the manager replied with a rude reaction.
The location is amazing, the staff is very friendly, the breakfast is delicious and as a vegetarian i could find a lot of options to eat. Would definetely go back!Rooms: 4/5
Security was good. Reception area was good. A few tired carpets. Expelair was totally inadequate in dealing with bathroom smells. Room 112. Won't stay again. Lesson learnt.Rooms: 2/5

I checked in on line. I shouldn't of bothered. I still checked in with girl at the deck. Got to my room t.v.didnt work. So moved to a other room. Keys had to be changed a few times. But after that things were alright. I lost my rail ticket in the move but wasn't found so had to buy a single back home. I do stay at this hotel when in Liverpool. Just needs a little through now. Still a handy hotel to stay for the sites of Liverpool. Rooms: Clean. Nearby activities: Caven in walking distance. And shops.
