Stayed here for two nights this week. The room was remarkably big, with a nice view over the park alongside the hotel. It was very quiet, no external noise coming in. Very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Excellent buffet breakfast with good vegetarian options. Very convenient location right next to the docks historic district, and the main shopping area. Only a short walk from lime street station. The staff were really helpful and nice. Highly recommended. Walkability: Literally right next to the shopping area and the historic dock museum area. 10 minutes ready walk from lime street station
I went here for Liverpool away and to be honest, It weren’t that great. The workers were really nice but the beds weren’t comfortable at all.The shower was nice and toilet,However our lift journeys were rocky and we got stuck for a few minutes. In the morning I was looking forward to a lovely breakfast, it did look good but it tasted awful.I’m no hotel critique but I could notice dust from a mile away.We paid £143 And if I’m honest I’d say it’s worth about £70 Maximum. Thanks for the stay but I wouldn’t like to stay here again. Nearby activities: Anfield, Goodson park.
Had a great meal at the restaurant in one of the cube table reservations. The atmosphere was nice, there was live music. The meal was delicious. But for me, the star of the evening was Lucian:who was waited on our table for the night. He delivered excellent service, kudos to him.... Food & drinks: Nice choice on the menu..
We had a lovely stay at the Hilton City Centre, the staff are very friendly and helpful, which really makes all the difference. The room with park view was actually overlooking the Dock so that was a bonus. We had to get a camp bed for an extra guest as a late add on & this was not a problem. There was a small fee for her stay plus breakfast. The bed was very comfortable & the room was lovely. The location of the hotel was fantastic, close to the shops, restaurants, Albert Dock. The 500 bus from the airport stops just around the corner. Breakfast was plentiful & very nice. We will definitely return again in the future. Nearby activities: Albert dock Liverpool One shopping Beatles museum Maritime Museum Mersey ferry Pier head Upside Down house Terrace restaurants try Smoke & Dough The Royal Liver Building 360 tour Walkability: Close to all amenities
Apart from its location, the hotel left a lot to be desired. Having paid for an executive suite, one needed to challenge the denial of a parking space, the room was the size of a standard room, the fridge and TV didn't work and the shower, when turned on, sprayed water everywhere. No effort was made to find a replacement room nor was there any urgency to rectify the fridge or TV. The saving grace was the effectiveness of the bar and restaurant staff. I will not rush to stay there again.
I was looking forward to my stay at the Hilton Liverpool, but I am now very disappointed. The building is old, and the room has an unpleasant smell. After checking in, I discovered a sandwich left in the trash bin of my room. I mentioned this to the reception staff as I was leaving for lunch. However, when I returned three hours later, the trash bin was still not emptied. I informed the staff again and asked when it would be addressed, but he only offered a perfunctory apology and kept repeating that it would be taken care of "as quickly as possible." This level of service is far from what one would expect from a 4-star hotel.Despite having Hilton Diamond status, I didn't receive complimentary water and had to ask three times before it was finally provided. The lounge is the smallest I’ve seen at any Hilton property and lacks a view. There’s no fridge in the room, and although there’s an ice machine in the hall, it was empty! LOL. This is the first time I’ve felt so unwelcome at a Hilton property. I regret my choice to stay here. The one star is for the location.Additionally, I had two separate reservations and asked the staff if I could stay in the same room for both nights. She assured me that I could and told me to come back to update my key card. When I asked what time I should do that, she said, "anytime you want." However, this information wasn’t shared with the rest of the staff, and the next day, someone knocked on our door asking us to check out. Honestly, I wasn't surprised given my experience so far, but it was still annoying.
Firm but comfortable beds, could do with replacing pillows. Hotel staff couldn't do enough for you and were extremely helpful and friendly. Very reasonable prices for drinks.Rooms: 4/5
Hotel parking was available when I arrived it’s £25 per night. But it meant my car was downstairs when I needed it. The hotel itself looks dated inside. My room was on the 4th floor the floor was dark with not enough light. The room was dark aswell with the controls for the AC hard to find half of it was under a wall hung mirror. Security latch on the door looks very loose and not safe could be easily broken down. The bed was super squeaky not idea. Amenities included are 2 glass bottles of still water and 2 glasses. No tooth brushes or paste. Shampoo, body wash, conditioner, hand wash and hand cream are on wall mounts in the bathroom. One thing which is found super strange was the toilet seats were very high including the sink I’m 6ft 1 and it feels like I have to climb onto the toilet and to use the sink. Overall would not recommend this hotel
The hotel couldn't be located more perfectly. The Albert Dock, Liverpool One, museums, nightlife, restaurants, VR- and water activities etc., they're all only a stone's throw away. The room I stayed in was clean and spacious. The bed easily would have fit four! Lol. And let's not forget to mention the view from the room, I could see the river Mersey, the upside-down house, Liverpool One, and in the far a pretty skyline of the rest of the city. Breakfast had plenty of good and healthy choices, and dinner was better than expected. That accompanied by friendly, skilled staff made my stay at this Hilton 'tip top'. I'll definitely come back.
Great location, most rooms not a great view. No fridge in room although it was advertised as having one. No drawers for clothes. No chair to sit on at desk/mirror when drying hair. The comfortable swirl chair is too heavy & low to move across the room to use. Nearby activities: Museums, Albert Docks, shopping, food & drink. Walkability: Lots of things close by. 15 min walk from Lime street station.
