This is lovely hotel right in centre of the city. Staff very friendly and rooms and suites excellent. Stayed in Paul McCartney suite it was amazing. My only moan not a complaint was breakfast area, it seemed a bit crammed where the food was and hot drinks. Rooms: Excellent rooms Nearby activities: Everything Walkability: Excellent location right in heart of Liverpool city centre Food & drinks: When we previously stay at this hotel. We went to the restaurant and were shocked to see it empty. I honestly don’t know why because the evening food was excellent. This time we went it was breakfast that we had and that was plenty full and nice
If you enjoy booking your hotel 5 months prior to your transatlantic trip, to make sure you get the suite you want, only to have it taken from you and given to a wedding party two weeks before your arrival, then this is the place for you. You would think, if a hotel is going to take said suite from you, they would give you some incentive to still stay in their hotel in a lower category room...wrong. We were offered a lower category room....at a rate higher than I could book it online. However, if you want first class service in beautiful buildings, in great locations, do as we did and stay at the Titanic Hotel or The Municipal where they appreciate your business. After speaking with locals, it was apparent that our forced relocation was a blessing in disguise. Thank you Hard Day's Night Hotel for ensuring we stayed at the best hotels in Liverpool!
Stayed during my first trip to Liverpool just last month 6/24. The Hotel & particularly the staff are awesome!!! Friendly, caring, & attentive, they will make sure your stay is the most fun it can be. The Manager - Mo - is an absolute Prince of a man: professional, courteous, & eminently knowledgeable. My Lady companion is recovering from back surgery & also suffers from MS, so she has some movement issues. The Hotel is most accommodating for this & again the staff goes out of their way to help out. The rooms are exceedingly nice & comfortable. Plan on returning next year! Nearby activities: If you’re a Beatles fan, there’s no better place to stay & it’s right around the corner from The Cavern, the legendary bomb shelter-turned-young-adult-nightclub that helped make them famous! In addition, you’re centrally located to where many of Liverpool’s must-see sights are & practically a stone’s throw away. Food & drinks: Breakfasts are off the charts & the restaurant itself is very good! Only complaint is the bar could stay open later.
Having checked into Liverpool's Hard Days Night Hotel dedicated to honouring the Fab Four in their home town I'm very pleased with my room and the hotel's open spaces full of imagery reminding us of the Beatles. What has especially stood out for me is the attentiveness and dedication to high quality service of the receptionist, Mahmoud, who has made every effort to ensure I have an enjoyable and comfortable stay. The hotel needs to be congratulated for employing someone with such commitment to hospitable service. I'd also like to give a shoutout to Mo on reception who was also fantastic... and went above and beyond.. Thank you so much for your help. Outstanding staff service. Rita Ireland Rooms: The rooms are lovely and have everything you could need... TV. a nice size fridge and safe..dressing gowns & slippers.. comfortable beds. Walkability: Right in the centre of town and close to so many fabulous restaurants..shops and bars....perfect location.
Absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. Rooms were roomy and luxurious with retro feel. Food was great and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the ultimate Beatles experience, ...brilliant, thank you!Rooms: 5/5
It's superficially a nice hotel with lots of Beatles memorabilia. However, after a few hours of checking in, the cracks started to show both metaphorically and physically. Despite being in the Lennon Suite, one of the hotels premium rooms, there were a multitude of issues. The shower head was hanging off and leaking, there were multiples aeas of damaged paintwork, only USB point was halfway up the wall, the wardrobes and cupboards were all tired, bedside lamp was loose, there were no bathroom accessories at all, the one most missed was a shower cap for my wife. Service was hit and miss. Many of the staff were great, but had to retrieve bottled water from housekeeping cart and when we asked about the shower cap we were advised that "most people bring their own". In the big scheme of things these might seem to be minor complaints, but when a hotel holds itself out to a high end luxury destination none of these issues should arise.
Lovely hotel with great friendly staff. Fantastic buffet breakfast with pretty much anything you could want. Beds are very comfortable and our room was a really good size. Only slight negative was the noise from local bars although it wasn't too loud and didn't bother me but may bother a light sleeper. 5*Rooms: 5/5
Just returned from 2 weeks in the UK. Our stay at Hard Days Night was our favorite hotel of the trip. Rooms nicely appointed and well thought out, with a George Harrison portrait adorning our room. This hotel is in a renovated mid 19th century Victorian building in central Liverpool and convenient to many of The Beatles related businesses. The repurposed central circular stairway is worth a trip up or down just to see all the photos of The Beatles through the years. Highly recommended if you’re going to Liverpool.
PROS: - great location next to Mathew street, so if you're a Beatles fan or a fan of live music, the pubs and Cavern Club are right next door. - we purchased breakfast with our stay and it was quite delicious and well stocked. Coffee was excellent. - service at front desk was very friendly and at the bar as well. CONS: - We stayed in a 3rd floor room which was close enough to the trains and the night clubs so as to hear the rumbling of both, especially at night. - room lighting is too dim, especially in evenings. - entry door rattles a bit when other room doors are slammed at first we thought someone was knocking - shower is a tight fit, especially for a man my size 5'11" 225lbs. Overall, our stay did not hinder our experience. There are lots of Beatles images, photos and memorabilia to look at throughout. The location is a great hub if you are visiting the city center or the docks.
Lovely hotel, looks the part. Lovely Beatles themed throughout. Mahmoud was so kind and friendly and when I enquired about upgrading our room to something a little larger - willing to pay - he upgraded us to a deluxe suite free of charge as it was our anniversary!! Fantastic service and would make me come back again :D highly recommend xRooms: 4/5
