Well done to the room attendants. The room was very clean, tidy, well polished and presented. We enjoyed our stay, we were warm and comfortable and really appointed the effort put in by the room attendants/cleaners. The room had everything we needed for a one night stay, it was warm, modern and the bathroom was excellent, bright and modern also. We would definitely recommend and stay again. The only downside was the water in the swimming pool and jacuzzi was freezing cold.
Great location and the staff were excellent. The hotel and furnishings are starting to just look a little old fashioned and tired. The room I had was large and the bed comfortable, but let down but let down by things like no USB charging sockets. This is something that even budget hotels have. The next day the breakfast was delicious, plenty of variety and good quality
0655 this morning and I went to iron my shirt nut the iron was broken. Phoned reception and he suggested to call back in an hour! I kept insisting I would be late to work then eventually he said to call back in half an hour. I said this still wasn’t right so he looked in his cupboard and found a spare iron and told me to come down and get it. He said he was the only person on shift. Ridiculously understaffed for such a big hotel, especially during a big conference. I also couldn’t get the tv working but gave up trying to get help on that. Also the ice machine on the 2nd floor was broken and the room was a bit run down too. Disappointing.
Sadly we won’t be back, despite the fantastic location and view from the room. We booked mainly because of the spa and breakfast, but spa center is in horrible condition, all mouldy & dirty. It was also very slippery there and signs “there is no personal here, be careful” was like a joke. Room was spacious, but very outdated, also moldy in the bathroom. Breakfast was ok, nothing special, but also nothing to complain about.
Great location and the staff were very helpful, the breakfast was decent and a fair price for the rooms! We as a stag party had a few hiccups with rooms being allocated wrong at first, one room had power that kept tripping out and another had a faulty shower but the staff were helpful every time! Would recommend again. Nearby activities: Lots of stuff for a stag party to do, comedy club, night clubs, paintball, karting, all within 15 minutes walk! Walkability: Great location for the centre of town and the docks, as well as food and entertainment locations. Food & drinks: Great restaurant and bar, and the breakfast was great.
Overall, a really poor experience. The room stank of weed and it was pretty scruffy. The straw that broke the camel's back was coming back to find there wasn't a TV remote in the room and the Aircon didn't work. The putrid smell of the room being circulated with warm heat was just insufferable. We went to reception, collected another scruffy remote, missing its back that too didn't work. Now midnight we had to switch rooms. A really poor experience in a scruffy, tired hotel that's desperate for a refit
Came here to stay for a weekend shopping trip. Check in was great man at front desk was very helpfull when asked questions. Asked for extra pillows at front desk which where brought up to us. Room was okay confy beds , good size TV. If you wanted to bring a firestick you will need to bring an extention lead has no socket near the tv. Also no socked by the beds. There was 2 on the desk and 1 nwar far bed but this was too far away for wire to read table so phone was charged on the floor. Furniture in the room is a little outdated but fine for purpose an plenty space in the room. Breakfast was 17.95 i personally did not think this was worth for ehat was offered. Small selction of tiny pasteries, smal selection of friut. No fried egg ? What breakfast doeant offer a fried egg ? If you have time or are happy to walk you could get a breakfast better price an better quality. Used the pool and sauna facilities. Pool did not look like pictures. To access pool you have to go down spiral stairs which where rusted an seemed a little dangerous. Hot tub was not hot was cold water with bubbles. The pool was alao cold and sauna a small size so if busy might nkt get a chance to use it. Overall would not call it spa just pool woth small sauna
We stayed at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Liverpool for a city break. The location is perfect, with everything within walking distance. The staff were very friendly and helpful with any questions. We highly recommend including breakfast with your stay, as the Collage restaurant offers a wide variety of delicious breakfast items. Additionally, the Ark spa is worth a visit—treat yourself to a brilliant massage. However, the wellness pool facility needs significant attention and is not somewhere we would revisit. The room decor was a bit dated, but the bed was extremely comfortable. Despite these minor issues, we would definitely return! Nearby activities: All the local attractions are within walking distance from the hotel. We recommend a trip to the Liver Building, The Fab Four statue, the Tate Museum, Albert Docks, Liverpool One shopping centre, The Big Cathedral and the Bombed Church. Food & drinks: We were recommended to visit the Gino D’Acampo restaurant and 360 bar, which was absolutely amazing. Food and drinks were excellent and less than a 2 minute walk from the hotel. I would also recommend the Panoramic 34, Mowgli, Rough Handmade Bakery and Riva Blu. All within walking distance.
We visited subject hotel on a weekend and we chose it since we have stayed many times in subject hotel chain in the past. Location is very convenient but room was not in a good condition. Dirty ceiling and glassess. Carpet had also stains. When asked for parking in the reception gave me short guidance and had to drive around for quite some time in order to find parking.
Rooms and hotel very clean and tidy with no maintenance issues seen. Breakfast was lovely with a great selection and help yourself buffet. Would recommend dining out if you want choice, food at the hotel is delicious bit limited on choiceRooms: 4/5
