Absolutely LOVE this hotel. Stayed here at the start of September. It was my wedding anniversary and my husband thought he had booked our usual hotel - the titanic. Upon arrival, he hadn’t!! So they recommended this hotel for a romantic night away, we popped in and spoke to “Asia” on the front desk, who was absolutely INCREDIBLE with us. I’ve stopped in many hotels, all around the world and her service was exceptional. She really looked after us. We stayed in the Bertie suite and it was Devine. Stunning room. We had cocktails in the lounge where the service was just as incredible. And we will absolutely be staying here again. Great value for money too in my opinion! Brilliant service from Asia though I can’t say Thankyou to her enough!
The most stunning hotel I've stayed in. From the moment we checked in the staff were so lovely. Extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We had a Club room which was amazing. Lovely views of the river. It's in a great location. We had breakfast included in our room rate and omg it was amazing. The selection of continental and hot food was something else. The coffee was great too. Highly recommended
2 night stay girls trip. Beautiful hotel in an ideal location. Staff very friendly and helpful. Leon working the bar was great. He engaged with myself and friends 4 of us and his "banter" was hilarious. He really looked after us and remembered our names and choice of drink. His customer service was impeccable. Thank you Walkability: 15 minute walk to centre
Really lovely boutique hotel but not small. Gym, no pool. Good breakfast served from 7am. If you want a quiet room, ask for one facing the dock. Parking in a multistory next door but not discounted by the hotel. Approximately £24 per night. I may be off by a couple of pounds. Nice friendly staff. Only issue was if you wanted to use the gym you had to go to reception to get them to escort you. Who wants to queue up at reception again after checking in? Apparently a temporary problem bit I don't know if it was resolved.
The great things about this hotel were the staff, the location and the breakfast. The staff were very friendly and responsive and tried to deal with our issues. The location was fantastic - right on the docks and among all these amazing historical buildings. The breakfast had a really good selection of food, and no congealed eggs sitting under a hot plate for hours! Every hot breakfast was cooked to order and we loved that. The less great things were the room itself and the noise. The room was really tired and ours was so dark it was actually a bit depressing! The bathroom was like a crypt - black walls, black floor and black ceiling, it honestly felt like you were getting showered in a coffin. The shower itself was terrible, too - the only option was a waterfall shower with no pressure and no hose for extra ablutions. And there was no way you could put makeup on properly, you could barely see your face. The desk was also chipped and the sofa was a little stained. Noise-wise, we were on the third floor right above the function room, and on the Saturday night, people were smoking weed on the function room balcony despite the hotel's no smoking policy, which went straight into our room, and there was a karaoke disco that went on until midnight that was so noisy it was unreal. Forget having a relaxing, early night if you're in this hotel on a weekend. All in all, we did have a fantastic trip to Liverpool - what a historic city! - but the hotel was definitely a bummer and I wouldn't stay here again.
I recently stayed at Malmaison Liverpool and had an exceptional experience from start to finish. The location is perfect, nestled in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore the local attractions. The room was spacious, modern, and impeccably clean, with a comfortable bed that ensured a good night's sleep. Food-Staff 10/10 Thanks for everything
I was very happy with this hotel for the price, stayed for 2 nights and was able to leave my bags there for a few hours after checkout. Hotel is in a fantastic location, staff were really friendly and accommodating. Would definitely recommend this hotelRooms: 5/5
Lovely hotel, very welcoming and cosy. All staff were great, the room decor was a little bit outdated and our bathroom was a bit run down which let us down. But overall a lovely stay, the location is ideal and approximately a 10 min walk from the local town centre.Rooms: 4/5
Amazing, dog friendly hotel in the middle of Liverpools historic docks. The decor is eclectic with a cool vibe. The rooms, although quite compact were well thought out and functional with a desk, small table and 2 armchairs. The bathroom was very stylish, dark and moody with a huge bath and walk in shower. Our little dog was well provided for with a bed, bowls and even a doggybag full of treats and a ball! Our stay was to celebrate my daughters 18 birthday and the lovely Asia on reception gave her 2 complimentary cocktail vouchers upon arrival and the amazing Taylor at the bar helped her navigate her way through the cocktail menu! The food was great and the breakfast was outstanding with a cooked to order option eggs Benedict, smoked salmon and scrambled eggs and my husband a full English as well as a help yourself continental selection and coffee, even Ruby the dog was given some sausages to go! It's thoughtful details like this that made our stay so special. So thank you Asia, Taylor and all the other staff at Malmaison Liverpool. Unsure where to begin. This was our 3rd stay at Mal. It is our favourite place to stay in Liverpool. The hotel is beautiful, the staff are kind, helpful and attentive. The room was comfy, with the added extras making a whole lot of difference. Our breakfast was great, as was the room service we ordered. We will 100% be back, hopefully sooner rather than later. Also, it is cheaper to book direct through Mal rather than any other sites
