We stayed here with our two dogs. We were very happy with the rooms and service. There's an additional fee of £15/dog with the rooms, which is fair enough for a cleaning fee as you're likely going to be on coastal walks with them. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was very comfortable, clean and looked newly refurbished. Overall brilliant value and we'd stay here again. Noteworthy details: Very dog friendly
Table reserved for a Sunday evening, walked 20 minutes for the night out only to be told they'd run out of food....even though they had my number and could have easily let me know. Another couple had phoned a mere 10 minutes before to reserve a table, then arrived to find no food....! How can management do this to customers? Used to be a lovely pub, gone down hill astonishingly quickly.
Bright, clean, modern. So much changed since my last visits so many decades ago. Much potential being missed whilst much attention being given to the plain and popular standard menus. I really want to eat here when they up the ante and go for the stars.Service: 3/5
Delicious carvery and a nut roast! Good selection of vegetables. The lunch was made all the better by our brilliant waitress Katherine, who was helpful, funny and just delightful.
6 of us had the regular size carvery. Absolutely delicious!... And very generous portions too.. our waitress was super helpful and friendly. The cookie dough dessert was lush! Cant fault it!
Had a wonderful meal on Saturday with family. The food was cooked perfectly it was lovely and hot and served with a smile the young lady who looked after us was a delight nothing was too much trouble. To top it off the apple and rhubarb crumble was to die for . Will definitely be back when we visit again.Service: 5/5
The room was good. Cleaning not great, no cleaning on 2 days. Breakfast was very good, but dinner expensive and fairly average. Staff helpful but seemed confused at times. Overall location suited me and I would return.Rooms: 4/5
Lovely little pub with a great garden area and play area. Would definitely recommend for families. Service was amazing, our waitress was brilliant and nothing was too much trouble. Food tasted great aswell. Only thing is lighting wasn't great but that's just a nick pick really.Location: 5/5
A lovely meal with a group of friends. Another vegan and pescetarian option would be great but what we had was very tasty. Staff were friendly, too.Service: 5/5
Went for Sunday carvery today. Food was good and reasonably priced. Our waitress was great and did her job well. We will return.
