Great find, whilst on a weekend away in Dorset. Lovely fire but the real gem was the food. Simply wow. Well done guys. Highly recommended
Fantastic village pub. Food is really good and the beer garden is large and has a good play area. You can take your dogs in the beer garden too as long as they are kept on a lead. Doom Bar was on tap last time. Pizza oven looks tempting too.
Menu correct March 2019 Warm and friendly atmosphere, nice staff happy to have a chat or leave you too it, dedicated menus for diary and gluten free reasonably well priced nice selection of beers and ales. Garden area is a little scruffy but it was early spring so not really used, plenty of heaters in a covered porch area out back for smokers and the like. Had ham eggs and chips which was very good.
Just popped in for a beer and getting the festive feels!!
The following is stated on their website. "The Blue Vinny offers a friendly & warm welcome" Hmmm. I beg to differ. Not rude staff but wholey indifferent to our party of four. Staff were unable to crack a smile. When asking for drinks that they unfortunately didn't stock, we weren't offered even a token apology...just blank faces whilst they waited for us to choose something else. Disappointed. I always say, if you're not happy to be in your job...please go do something else..I dont want to feel like I'm walking on eggshells. Anyway..Nice looking pub. Locals were very smiley.

Only popped in for drink on the way home, seems like a nice pub, good size garden with a play area. I noticed it has a conservatory with a pizza oven. Looks like it would be great for a local pub!
Couldn't recommend this pub enough. Very friendly staff, quick service and our meal was absolutely delicious. The pub is located in a nice quiet location with plenty of parking. Inside has a lovely warm rustic feel. Definitely recommend a visit!
Lovely gastro pub, all nicely done inside. Excellent food and kids menu. Large beer garden with climbing frame and table tennis.
Popped in for a quick meal on the way home from Devon with the children and food and service was good. Menu selection a step up from the usual pub fare too. Many thanks.
