Our week stay at the Conrad was, in short, the best hotel experience we’ve ever had. My wife surprised me with a trip to London for my birthday. We picked this hotel somewhat randomly. We were well more than pleased with our experience. All staff we encountered were friendly, knowledgeable and willing to help us with finding places to dine, summoning taxis, obtaining additional necessities and greeting us with engaging smiles and friendly banter. The rooms were impeccably maintained, spotlessly clean and provided a generous supply of coffee, water, tea and bathroom accessories. The choice of a handheld or rainshower was marvelous. The beds and pillows were over the top luxurious and so comfortable. The hotel sent up a bottle of sparkling wine and a birthday cake, fabulous The hotel location was ideal, most of the sites we were interested in seeing were within a 20 minute walk. The hotel is surrounded by good restaurants, pubs, the theater - fantastic! The executive lounge provided us with a wonderful breakfast and early evening premium cocktails and was a plus to our Conrad experience. It was fun to engage with others staying at the hotel, sharing ideas and other places to visit.
The Conrad St James hotel is a remarkable hotel! The service was amazing and everyone in the Conrad St James family took such great care of us. They went above and beyond to ensure that our experience was memorable and we will be forever grateful. The Executive Lounge was fabulous and their mini bite specialties such as mini egg rolls were delicious. Their attention to detail was impeccable. I had so many favorites with this hotel, but, one in particular was every night as part of our turn down service, the radio was left on a mellow radio station. It was the perfect way to end the evening and a calming way to drift off to sleep. It was small things like that that continually showed their expertise at providing the ultimate customer experience. The Westminster location was perfect and we were able to walk to many destinations and the St James Rail Station was right across the street. We thoroughly enjoyed the bar after sightseeing all day and it was nice to come back to a pleasant and soothing atmosphere to have a nightcap before going to our room. We actually happened to run into a fellow USA Huntsville Alabama local and his family in the Executive Lounge and we were all shocked to be in London at the same hotel at the same time. What a small world! Thank you again to everyone at the Conrad St James Hotel for making our once in a lifetime trip to London spectacular!
Had a wonderful time at this hotel which is in a very convenient location. I was here with my family for 8 nights. It's within a 5 min walk from St.james park and right next to Buckingham Palace, it's great if you want to catch the Changing of the Guard. Also walkable to Westminster Abbey and Big Ben. Also the hotel is next to a tube station. The staff was also amazing. First I want to give considerable recognition to Peter from the Executive lounge. He was wonderful! Helped my family regarding getting our room ready as we were jet lagged. Also he was very personable and even remembered our favorite wine we liked. Second I want to Also recognize Renee from the front desk. She was so nice and thoughtful. She really helped my family especially with my toddler by making sure we had access to the lounge. Lastly but not least was blessing who served us when we had our morning breakfast. Her service was impeccable and she was so nice. She even helped get our daughter the hotel plush toy as a gift. For anyone looking at hotels I highly recommend this one for its prime location and amazing customer service! I would definitely book this hotel again. Rooms: Very clean and modern. Air conditioning was quiet. Water pressure in bathroom was strong. Nearby activities: Buckingham palace, westminster abbey, Soho and Big Ben.
We stayed at Conrad London St. James in October 2024 for 7 nights. Had a nice one-bedroom suite that provided the comfort and convenience of a home away from home. The suite was spacious with all the amenities we could ask for. The staff and facilities are what one would expect from Conrad - top notch. The hotel is in walking distance from many attractions. The Pem restaurant served high quality food in a very pleasant atmosphere. Excellent service all around. Special thanks to Guest Relations Manager Maria Fe Rivera who made our stay truly remarkable. Her care and attention to detail were unsurpassed. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting London. Rooms: Very clean and comfortable. Tastefully decorated with artwork. Modern amenities. Working space with international plugs. Although the hotel is located in downtown, the suite was very quiet. Food & drinks: Pem restaurant is worth a visit. Serving contemporary cuisine in a pleasant environment with excellent service.
We only stayed for one night on the way home to the US from a trip in Greece. We booked it because it was close to all of the sights that we’d only have one night to see. Great choice! The staff is so warm & helpful. The rooms are modern, clean, and comfortable. And the pub downstairs is great & has a 3ft tall corgi statue, which was very much appreciated!
We stayed here for our honeymoon. It was very luxurious. It was perfectly located near many touristy activities and restaurants. It had nice air conditioned rooms and very comfy beds. The afternoon tea at the hotel was delicious and safe for me despite my nut allergy. They even set the room up special for us when we arrived on our first night. We couldn't have asked for more.
I recently stayed at this hotel and had an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by how accommodating everyone was. The rooms were impeccably clean, and the entire hotel maintained a high standard of cleanliness, which I really appreciated. What stood out the most was the incredible hospitality of every single employee. The reception staff were kind and welcoming, and the dining area staff were equally polite, respectful, and attentive. It was clear that everyone working there genuinely cared about making my stay as pleasant as possible. The location of the hotel is also excellent, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. However, what truly made my stay special was the exceptional service. I would definitely love to return to this hotel in the future. Thank you so much for such an amazing time! Rooms: Clean - is what I care about the most. Love the robes too. Nearby activities: Lots to do! Safety: Very safe Walkability: Can walk all over London! Food & drinks: Yummy all around
Great location, quiet rooms, and polished service. We stayed at the start and end of our trip and it was excellent both times. The location is amazing, with many tourist sites nearby and the district and Central line directly across the street, but it was just far enough away to be quiet and relaxing. There was a couple second power outage on our second trip that knocked the air conditioning offline for a couple hours but they brought us a Dyson fan and opened all the windows for us. I know it was out of their hands and I really appreciate that they made a true effort to try and make us as comfortable as possible. It's what I would expect for this kind of hotel and they had 5 Star service at every point Safety: The ministry of Justice is right down the street and Buckingham and 10 downing are right there too. It's probably the safest place in the city. Walkability: District and Central tube stop directly across the street and a 5 minute walk to many tourist hotspots and parks.
We stayed Aug 4 -11 2024. The service was awesome, Reception and Valet Staff was awesome, the Housekeeping Staff was awesome, the room was awesome, the food was awesome, staff at Blue Boar Pub was awesome! Loved the condition of the hotel, room and amenities. We had the Duplex One Bedroom w/ Exec Lounge Access. Everything was so fresh, clean. The decor of the room and hotel was awesome upscale modern, but still maintaining a bit of history. The way they paid attention to the little things. Everyone greeted you with a smile everyday. They were so helpful and genuine. The extra touches like being greeted in your room with wine, fresh fruit and bottled water. The flowers in your room and all over the hotel were fresh everyday, and farewell treats with handwritten thank you card made us so sad to go. We were treated to two different beautiful bouquets in our room everyday. Loved the artwork throughout the hotel. Right across the street from St. James Tube Station, just a short walk from Buckingham Palace, Just down the street from Westminster Abbey. Awesome location! I will definitely stay here again. Thank you all for your dedication to service.
I stayed well with my child for 4 days and checked out on the 13th, and I was very satisfied with the hotel, so I left a review. I'm staying in Hyatt or Accor, and this was my first time using Conrad in London. It was a choice I had no regrets about. I was touched by the tremendous kindness and consideration of all the staff members from the beginning of my stay at the hotel to the end of my stay at the hotel. It was such a pleasant journey. I had a pleasant time without any inconvenience. In particular, the smiles of the staff members were the most memorable. Thank you for having a pleasant trip.
