Chinatown during the Chinese New Year celebrations, and I wanted to share my experience as it was truly incredible. The streets were beautifully decorated with red lanterns and traditional ornaments, creating a festive and authentic atmosphere that perfectly showcased the heart of Chinese culture in London.nnThe energy in the area was vibrant and immersive, featuring impressive lion dances and live performances. If you are planning a visit, there are fantastic food options ranging from authentic Cantonese dim sum at Bun House to popular spots like Tao Tao Ju and SpudBros. I also recommend grabbing a bubble tea from Milksha or Molly Tea while you explore.nnPlease keep in mind that it can get very crowded and the food can be quite expensive, but the sense of community and cultural pride made the visit well worth it. It is a brilliant way to experience this celebration up close.

Chinatown in the UK is vibrant and full of life! The colorful decorations, traditional architecture, and lively streets create an incredible atmosphere that truly captures the essence of Asian culture. It’s a fantastic place to explore, take photos, and enjoy the unique cultural experience. Definitely worth a visit if you want to immerse yourself in a lively, cultural environment right in the heart of the city.

I love the culture, I love the food, I love Chinese snacks. In fact, I don't think anyone does savoury snacks better. Lays does exceptionally tasty crisps...better than you'll find in any Walkers variety. Take a look at my photos for some of my favourites. Visited Chinatown recently and lucked out with the Chinese New Year celebration going on. Great atmosphere with all the colourful decorations and lanterns. Lots of restaurants and bakeries to choose from. Food smelled amazing. Nice place to walk around and grab a bite.
