Nearest railway station to the Hammerton Brewery and Taproom which is just off exit. It's a frustrating station - as others have said you have to cross over two lines by bridge/lift to exit which are not used for passenger services. Perfectly accessible but made more difficult than it needs to be.
Well it works but it is kind of annoying. The e trance is a bit difficult to find and then you enter on a platform that isn't used and have to cross to others. It does look wheel-chair accessible but would be a bore to use as thr distances are loooong. However I sae it on a sunny spring day so enjoyed the openness and quiet of it.
Nice Station that has lifts and good services to Clapham Junction Richmond & Stratford. No ticket barriers at this station.
Caledonian Road & Barnsbury station is a London Overground station on the North London line and on Travelcard Zone 2 of the TfL Network.nnLocated between Highbury & Islington and Camden Road station. Served by trains every 10-15 minutes during peak hours and every 20-30 minutes during off-peak hours. Trains run to and from Stratford, Highbury & Islington, and Canonbury. The station is also served by four bus routes:nn* Bus Route 17: Northbound to Archway / Southbound to London Bridge.nn* Bus Route 91: Northbound to Hornsey / Southbound to Trafalgar Square.nn* Bus Route 259: Northbound to Edmonton / Southbound to nearby King's Cross.nn* Bus Route 274 Northbound-ish to Angel Islington / Westbound to Lancaster Gate.nn* Night-Bus N91: Northbound to Cockfosters.
Perfectly serviceable station served by the overground line. Access is pretty decent, so you have to remember to beep you oyster in as there aren’t any ticket barriers. Platforms are wide, the only problem is that overground trains don’t quite run as regularly as I would like.
