If I could give Brixton railway station zero stars / rating I would this is a awful train station which is served by Southeastern trains which go towards Victoria and Orpington. There is no ticket barriers here and never see any staff member here the station entrance to both platforms has stairs only no lifts. The entrance to the main part of the station for platform 2 is under the railway arch you have a lot of drug addicts sitting on the stairs doing drugs from sniffing to smoking it. A lot of people riding there bikes up and down pass the entrance not a care in the world. And for entrance to platform 1 is a long narrow staircase with lots of steps to the platform. There is no safety at this station and I would avoid at all costs especially at night when it's dark. If you do come to this station beware of what is around you.

Feels really unsafe at night with lots of people doing drugs in the subway. Never see any security guards or police presence.

Zone 2 station. No step free access.
