Story

Admit it what do you think when someone tells you they’re an estate agent?? We can probably take a guess at what you’re thinking and wouldn’t really want to put that on facebook! But here at UBU Lettings we pride ourselves on breaking that stereotype, we were set up in 2013 by Bristol Students Union with the key aim of improving the moving experience for our students we started off specialising in student accommodation and quickly grew to encompass professional lettings, property sales and full property management, so whether your looking to let, rent buy or sell we could be just the ticket!

Excellent understanding of the needs of landlords and tenants so make very good selections saving all parties time and trouble. Very informed of the Bristol property market. Good communications and very fair in negotiating. Thoroughly recommend to landlord's of which I am one and tenants.

Found a fantastic landlord with SU Lettings. The team were very friendly and helpful when we were booking viewings, and they made an effort to check in throughout the process. I was also impressed at the effort they made to find students reasonable prices for accommodation, given the conditions of the properties. Would absolutely look for another house with them in the future!

The staff at SU Lettings is fantastic - friendly, efficient, knowledgeable.  It is a tough market, but they have the experience to manage existing options and to find new ones.  They are communicative, responsive, and go above and beyond to offer service and support.  Their efforts resulted in a perfect rental flat, an informed approval process, and a facilitated move-in.  Thank you!

I rented with Bristol SU for two years. The rent was very reasonable, communication with my letting agent was always very quick and easy and any issues we had were dealt with quickly. Can definitely recommend, especially compared to Digs or Flatline.

Great experience renting with no major problems and they showed a lot of respect for their tenants.  Only negative was how long maintenance issues took to be sorted out e.g. our fire alarm kept going off at 3am and it took just under a month and multiple requests to get it fixed. I felt that this issue in particular was not fixed as fast as possible

Had a great two years with SU lettings, who were always helpful and responsive to any questions or concerns. A special thank you to a lovely chap called Alex who oversaw our tenure. Would certainly recommend!

Had a pretty terrible experience with this student agency, and if I had the choice to put them down as no stars, I would do that in a heartbeat. Absolutely zero understanding for students in a difficult financial situation and both Emily and Georgie have been abrupt, not understanding and pretty rude at times in their emails and phone calls. I would not recommend this agency at all.

Bristol SU Lettings are the only student lettings agent in Bristol that offer that personal touch from the outset. All the way through our housing search, we felt like we were being guided by someone that wanted us to get the best deal possible - Alex did a great job here. We never felt pressured to get a place, and we were able to find a property that was perfect for us in price and style. Since signing with Bristol SU lettings, we've been well looked after and communicated with excellently, with kindness - not being berrated like we have by previous student agents in the city.
