Took some clients for a meal , extensive menu - something for everyone. The food was top notch and plenty of it - very generous portions . The staff were very accommodating to our requests and they kept the drinks flowing throughout the meal as requested. New management have just taken over and are doing an excellent job with the place . Great atmosphere we didn't want to leave . Will definitely be returning in the future , and looking forward to attending their live music nights with some mates .
We had a family meal here with a baby gender reveal. The team were absolutely brilliant, friendly and accommodating. The food was all perfect, hot and tasty with big portions. Such a happy couple of hours! It was a baby girl and everyone congratulated the mum and dad. Highly recommended
We had a lovely meal here last Saturday lunch time. The Hunters Chicken Burger I had was really nice and my daughter said that her meat burger tasted freshly made and was very good. The fish and chips was good too! Will go there again when we can.
New management have made a great impression already... Delicious home cooked food delivered by Jess - Good sized portions, plenty of choice, and happy to accommodate any requests... Fab! Sunday roasts are banging!! The pub has been updated and refurbished to a high standard. Highly recommend this pub!!
Amazing food, big portions and great value! Waiting staff very friendly and as attentive as they could be with a busy restaurant. Nice atmosphere and fairly busy even on a Wednesday evening; always a good sign. We were in Somerset for the week for a short stay and this is the best pub we tried in our week here! 10/10 recommend.
Myself, sister, father & my sisters fiance had Sunday Lunch here on 22nd January and it was delicious. The food was nice and hot, service excellent & very good value for money. We have eaten here many times in the past and food is always on point, would highly recommend!!
Great pub food! Great service, great atmosphere and prices are standard for eating out. Would highly recommend this place to anyone who wishes to dine out as a couple or family.
Had a lovely lunch at the Blue Bowl today. Love the new menu, staff were really accommodating about my dietary requirements and the food was delicious- had a burger and praline roulade- ate every last bit of both! Thanks and see you again soon!
This is the first time we've been here since new management and it's nice to see that the quality of the food hasn't changed! We were supposed to be having a singer! But i had a phone call during the day that she had cancelled so was given the opportunity to cancel and receive my deposit back! But we decided to still go glad we did!
Third visit to the Blue Bowl to introduce my son and his wife to the amazing food we have enjoyed there. They were not disappointed. Enjoyed the music from the Lipinski brothers. The staff were, as before, run off their feet but remained helpful and cheerful. Looking forward to our next visit.
