An amazing experience. Food tasty and veggie options were great compared to lots of other carveries. Most importantly our waitress June was an absolute gem. She was so kind and sweet, really radiated happiness and she was really helpful and thoughtful. I’ve never met a nicer waitress. I hope she is compensated well for all her hard work!!
I had been looking forward to this meal for a week and was not disappointed. Our waitress Theresa was extremely friendly and helpful as were all of the staff. The food was ridonculously delicious and we can’t wait to come back soon and have a dessert, I had the veggie pie and was blown away. My girlfriend and her parents all had the Turkey, beef and pork, it was 10/10.
Excellent food and the service was brilliant, the only downside was the selection of vegetables there was only carrots, peas and cauliflower cheese. They also don't do chips so my son had chicken nuggets and beans which was £6.99 so was quite expensive for two things. The deserts where very nice.
Arrived at 9 for breakfast and food was not fresh. Went cold very fast and tasted of rubber! Ordered a hot chocolate and it was stone cold. We then ordered half pint of coke and the glass had a funky smell to it like it’s not been washed properly. I wouldn’t advise coming here it’s not to a decent standard.
Really friendly staff, we went with our 3 & 2 year old and they were very accommodating. Food was really good and better than we were expecting. Totally recommend booking as we went midday on a friday and was lucky enough to get the last table in the bar part, others behind us were turned away. Had a really lovely carvery and dessert. Used a wowcher voucher which cut the bill in half. My only complaint is the staff were unsure how to apply it correctly so my bill was higher until they figured it out properly. Staff however were very friendly and helpful and the dinner was really tasty, fresh and cooked well.
All was very good but I can't understand why it is impossible to get a sausage with carvery especially for children. To have them on the counter and then refuse a child is seen as being very mean, and gives the impression of poor customer care. Apart from that the staff were very friendly and pleasant
Was a little disappointed with the breakfast. It was basically a DIY English breakfast without much alternative. Unless you plan to have multiple rounds, then probably better just to goto a Cafe. Worth noting that drinks are also not included and there is no fruit or cereal selections. Not a location issue, the venue itself was really great: the staff were welcoming and helpful, and the amenities were well maintained
The service was super, comfortable restaurant and great food. Sunday breakfast - easy and filling. I love the coffee - best ever! Every time we go it’s really good. Fair play to your team. They are all great.
Pre-Booked festive menu for six people. Table wasn’t ready for us but after a 10 minute wait we were found another table. However when we queued there was no turkey! this was a Christmas booking!!. The carver was quite offhand when we enquired how long for a fresh turkey & replied “don’t know could be an hour, could be two”. Cannot believe that they cannot manage quantities when busy. The rest of the meal, vegetables,was Luke warm. Overall a very poor experience. I would add that we have dined here many times and this was probably the worst we had experienced, usually the service & food is good.
