We arrived a little bit early and had coffees they were really accommodating even though we were a big party. The coffee was delicious, really strong and well made. Everything that we ate was incredible! So fresh and well prepared. The staff were really lovely and friendly. 100% worth a visit!
Great find & work stay, whilst in area to attend a Trade Event near. Myself & colleague, both in food sales industry & Chefs by trade thoroughly enjoyed the quality of meals eaten, both dinner & breakfast. Fresh ingredients & homemade clear to see & enjoy, whilst a good mix of old classics & modern dishes make up the Menu options. The food is equally matched & backed by a great front of House team, who 'all' gave great service & attention to our needs whilst staying for the two days. Nothing too great or small in dealing with & made to feel at Home from the minute we arrived. Rooms & furnishings were spotless, whilst being spacious & with great views also. Setting is ideal for those needing to be near to Bristol Airport & also commuting to City. Whilst being surrounded by natural charm & views of the countryside all around. We will definitely be back whilst on other work events in area & look forward to revisiting. Would highly recommend to anyone seeking a quality stay & home away experience in staying here. All the best, Stewart Mac Donald @ Rich Sauces
My friend and I called in for a drink, it's been many years since I was last there but it was just the same as I remember it, cozy, friendly and warm atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and we had a lovely evening catching up on old times. Perfect evening, I will definitely be back again soon.
Had a family birthday meal here and it was fantastic. There were 10 of us and we had the function room which gave the under 6s room to mess around and play in between courses. Food was excellent as was the service and staff. Bookmarking this and will be back.
Excellent evening dinner with my family. Good quality food and very good service in a lovely atmosphere. Not the cheapest but good value. Will return.Service: 4/5
I wanted to go shopping in Bath, although 9 miles away, so I booked a night at this place, very cosy and warm, my room was clean and tidy evening meal excellent and a fantastic breakfast especially the porridge. Staff was excellent and good communication skills. Now back home to Torquay.
Amazing atmosphere and food was soo good! My plate was a little bit late but worth the wait! Hope to visit again
Had a great stay here, very accommodating friendly staff, great food, a good pint and they even sorted us a packed lunch the morning we left at 5mins notice. Many thanks MikeRooms: 5/5
Great pub with bags of character and roaring fires. Shame my rare steak was served medium but that was the only blemish.
We had a fantastic Sunday lunch here, staff were great food was great not much more to say. Food & drinks: Fantastic food highly recommended.
