Amazing pub we were so glad to find it, and the staff and patrons were ah so friendly. They accommodate allergies, I have a seafood allergy and they made the adaption to my meal. I had the burger with local bacon and cheese it was sublime, my mother had the Hong Kong Chicken which she loved and my husband had the Gammon and he thought it was amazing. Could not paise the place more perfect to go on a cold day as they have the fire lite
Cute little English country pub in a magical location by the stone circles. There is a huge grassy back garden there that makes it perfect for your dog to chill while you have your roast dinner or pint overlooking the medieval church and ancient standing stones. The food was very nice accompanied by the spectacular view of a Sunset over the meadows. Ideal pit stop for country hikers as the vibe is welcoming even thou it is clearly a local pub. The entire village is like from Jane Austin' s novel with medieval village hall, Georgian cottages covered eith ivy and lots of flowers. Really amazing experience to be there!
A wonderful pub! Friendly staff, an incredible food! Genuinely one of the best burgers I have had a long long time at a very reasonable price! Dog friendly, while we didn't bring our lab did get to see some wonderful furry friends. If you are looking for wonderful food and a chilled local British pub I cannot recommend the druid enough!
Absolutely fantastic. What a little gem of a country pub. Wednesday night is steak night but also a couple of others on, so we both had fish and chips. The welcome was lovely, staff top of their game in service and presentation. Food was so good, really juicy big piece of fish with loads of lovely chips and garden peas, all at a very reasonable price. Julie and her team are an absolute credit. Can't recommend it enough. Thanks everyone.
I book tables here regularly whilst away on business. Fantastic food , beer and staff. The locals are very friendly too .. I'm happy to say the Druids Arms is my new local ! X
My partner and I went for a Friday night meal and a few drinks and the whole experience was lovely. The server was charming and the proper pub grub was hearty. It was a real country pub with a warm atmosphere.
Lovely location. Friendly and professional staff. The owner was having a pint at the bar and was very chatty and approachable, I liked him. The food was amazing. We had one burger from the specials board and one from the menu. Then we couldn't resist the generous deserts. V good quality.
After a long day on the road and stopping at a few places en route only to find them closed or not serving food on Mondays, we made our way to the ever-faithful Druids Arms just a mile or two from where we live. Welcomed by friendly faces we were offered a table inside but plumped for an al fresco meal in the tranquility of the raised garden overlooking meadows towards the setting sun. I had heard much about the pork belly, my lady went for the cider-battered fish and chips and fifteen minutes later both meals duly arrived, served with a smile and a chat. The fish, chips and crushed peas was beautifully done and in her words ‘absolutely amazing’. The pork belly was absolutely out of this world, lived up to every expectation and satisfied completely, the chorizo flavour bouncing marvellously off the broccoli, puréed peas and potato - I would thoroughly recommend trying it to anyone, a truly fabulous meal, well done team Druids.
We visited for a quick drink and ended up having a lovely Sunday lunch. The meals were what I call a 'proper' roast dinner, with meat, vegetables, Yorkshire puddings, and lashings of real gravy! Just the ticket...
Friendly staff and the pub food we had was amazing.
