My boyfriend and I had the most incredible stay at Black Knowl campsite. An incredibly friendly welcome, fish and chips from the local restaurant served fresh from a van, perfectly clean facilities all set to the sounds of the forest. You can’t hear any cars as you’re so far from the road. I can’t recommend this site enough! Far exceeded our expectations.
Beautiful caravan and motorhome site in an ideal location to explore the New Forest. Spotlessly clean and tidy, very helpful happy staff, great walking and cycling from the door. Fantastic!Rooms: 5/5
Luckily the weather was on our side. We only live 20 mins away but we could have been anywhere. Amazing walks for the dog too. Amazing staff and super clean communal areas. Back soon for sure.Rooms: 5/5
Lovely campsite nice and quiet booked as look Ed good for dog walks and we're not disapointed Food & drinks: Food several evenings through wee good value and tasty
Everything that everyone else has said. A great site, great location, and the usual spotless facilities. Nice walk over the common into Brockenhurst which takes a good 40 minutes, less if you take it briskly. Nice village with plenty pubs, cafes and assorted touristy type places. And horses and donkeys and lovely pigs abound all around you. Magic!!!!
Fabulous location, great facilities immaculately clean...would definitely go back...but I think for a campsite it's on the expensive side hence the ratingService: 4/5
Gorgeous site, great facilities and a very friendly receptionist. Will definitely go back. The New Forest is such a lovely location.Service: 5/5
I've stayed here three times now and each time have booked my next stay right away. The biggest attraction is the location, right in the New Forest, with walks in several directions. On one day we walked cross country and away from roads to Rhinefield House Hotel in the Rhinefield Ornamental Drive arboretum and on Sunday we walked to Brockenhurst for lunch. The heathland can be boggy in wet periods, but there are good gravel paths. The toilets, showers and other facilities at the site are clean and well maintained. They are located in the centre of the site, so it's never far from your pitch. Most pitches are completely level. Some pitches look slightly crowded but where I was staying was generously laid out. A number of meal vendors visit the site, though I didn't try any. You do need to be a member of the Caravan and Motorhome Club to stay at the site.
Absolutely love this site. It's right in the middle of the forest. Horses and Deer roaming free just out of the main gate. Wonderful walks from the site and a dog/bike wash for when you get back! Shower block is clean and modern. Local food van businesses attend most nights during peek periods pizza, fish n chips etc Will definitely come back
Beautiful campsite in the amazing surroundings of The New Forest. Ideal for walking or cycling. A haven for dog walking direct from site. The village of Brockenhurst is approximately 45 mins walk away.Service: 4/5
