I went there a few weeks ago and they could not find my booking, but their attitude was what surpised me. Nothing was too much trouble! Robyn and Mike found a pitch for my tent even though they were busy making pizzas for a field full of happy campers and i was made to feel really welcome. They have though of pretty much thought of everything: Egg and Bacon butties in the morning Pizzas or Burgers in the evening if you do not wish to cook Wood and kindling for the fire pit Ice for drinks and ice cream if you are lucky with the weather Hot showers and proper toilets with toilet paper Even tents and food coolers, if you do not own them! The way the Embers camping works is a large field and tents round the outside, which I am sure for a parent is great to keep an eye on the kids, but even with myself and an adult friend it was fantastic. You felt that you were alone except the people either side of you. Also, by not allowing music and noise after 11pm it means that you actually are at a campsite not a festival! When we turned up we were late, bothered and the wind had picked up. after struggling for 10 minutes with the wind, our very nice neighbours came and helped us with the tent. What a welcome! Would we go again??? Well i just did and took my 81 years old father who had a great time. Would i recommend Robyn and Mike at Embers in Beaulieu? Well i have been to many a campsite and have not returned. I will only return if Robyn and Mike are there as without them the campsite does not work. They are the life and soul of the campsite and i cannot wait until June next year! Keep it going guys. Thanks for making us feel really welcome!

This campsite is currently closed but they failed to specify this on their website. Come on guys!

Appalling customer service, extremely hard to get hold of and camp site crew are more useless that a loaf of moldy bread. No remorse for family circumstances and very unwilling to help you.

Quiet, excluded and backs onto a forest. Private campfire pits. Wood sold on site along with soft drinks and a few food items. Clean and warm toilets / showers. Basic, calm, family friendly camping.
