A great day out for the whole family. Plenty of animals, of which some aren't common to find in these types of places. The kids loved it and we made time to go to some of the talks which were great. We especially liked the Otters! Food is good too and not too pricey compared to other wildlife parks or cafes.

Went here for my wife’s 27th. Very much enjoyed our day, plenty of animals, so many awesome Owls! The wolves came out for a sniff and we played on the kids play stuff.. because why not. If we had kids I’m sure they would be able to play on that stuff for HOURS. Awesome, expert keepers, worth going to the feeding times listed on the map. Watch out for the crazy loud giant otters. Oh and the little otters will try and befriend you with gifts of small rocks.

Absolutely brilliant I treated my wife to a half day keepers with the animals and her own personal one to one guide, who could not have been more helpful knowledgeable and kind. It is expensive but you do get to places that the public are not allowed, and you experience being a keeper, you also get a lot of "goodies" and I would imagine the insurance is not cheap. I would like to thank all the staff in the shop the canteen and the keepers, but especially the two lovely girls who helped and looked after my wife during a difficult time. A big thank you. Ps even if you visited the tea rooms you are made very welcome and the food is good, and a fantastic dog walk opposite.

Even on a cold (but dry) January day it was a lovely place to visit. Friendly staff, well maintained grounds and fantastic big enclosures for the well looked after animals. It's not a massive site so it's easy (and worthwhile) to walk back and see animals that weren't out the first time you pass. The Wolf enclosure in particular is stunning - as close to nature as you could possibly imagine. We saw plenty of Otters (which were VERY entertaining) Wolves, Wallabies, Foxes, Deer (including beautiful Red Deer that were standing just a couple of yards from us) Bison, Owls, Ferrets, Pole Cats, Mice. The Butterfly enclosure was closed until the spring but that's to be expected. The kids play areas are again fantastic - especially the large adventure play area surrounded by Deer and Bison. After we'd seen all the animals I let my three boys run around the play area to their hearts content. By the time we left it was getting dark and freezing cold but they still didn't want to go.

Brilliant play areas, nice healthy group of animals and talks. Food was both good and very reasonably priced. Kids had a great time.
