The staff were all very friendly and helpful, one made a 10-minute trip to fix the wifi router for a single guest. The rooms and halls were very hot though, and had no openable windows.

Good, fast breakfast service and nice rooms. The building appears a little worn on the inside, but they say they are working on it. There is a system for letting them know whether you need your towel washed or not depending on where you leave it, to prevent them from wasting water unnecessarily, which is a nice touch. Right next to a pub/restaurant and a mini supermarket which is a bonus

It was a little bit too dated for the cost, however the staff at breakfast were exceptional and their cooking too.

An easy walk to the city center. Located in a quiet residential area. The brekkie was fantastic every day. The staff went out of their way to assist us during our stay, even accommodating us in extremely unusual ways. The building seems quite old, but the fixtures and furniture seem very new. And a tea set in our room! I was very reluctant to leave, my stay was so wonderful! Remember to check in at the Arundel, though.
