We stayed for 13 nights and any issues were minor really. It's certainly a nice building in a great location, watching & listening to the activities on Parkers Piece, every night, is certainly interesting. The narrow corridors and awkward stairs were a bit of a letdown, and if you arrive with more than a few suitcases, you're in for a challenge getting them to your room, there's no help with that at all. There is a very tiny elevator that will accommodate a large suitcase and a person, but depending on where you are in the hotel you may have to haul all of your stuff through the narrow corridors separated by multiple doors to get to your room. I think most of the high room cost is due to location, the executive room was a little smaller than I expected. But ultimately the staff were friendly and helpful, the continental breakfasts were good, the hotel is clean and in a great location, so all in all I'd definitely recommend The Regent Hotel, for your visit to Cambridge.

Hotel in perfect location. All attractions within walking distance of hotel. Staff extremely helpful. Rooms spotless and beds lovely and comfortable. Delicious breakfast.

Brilliant location and quirky styled room with comfy bed. Only drawbacks are the short bath and lack of mini fridge. Also I rang up the hotel prior to our stay about putting something in the room for my partners birthday by when we got there they had forgot. Shame

The night porter was difficult and could not find our names, and he was very reluctant to allow us inside. Only on producing the key to the room which we were already checked into did he find our names. They said the rest of the staff were lovely in the morning, the room was excellent, and we were touched by the wedding night gift that was left in the room.

This hotel is really good and located at perfect place. Kind staff and good breakfast. It is located at perfect location. Cambridge university and King's collage are just 10 min walk. Good restaurants around.
