The building dates back to around 1850 and is situated, in the heart of this historic and diverse city (a city renowned with the likes of: Byron, Newman, Darwin and Rupert Brook) and is a few hundred yards, within walking distance to all university colleges, especially the famous "Kings", founded by Henry VI in 1441, the university Botanic Gardens, museums, parks and open spaces, entertainment and the shopping vicinity where "one shops till they drop!" The resident owners take pride in giving friendly and efficient service to all guests - and are always available to provide local information.
