The meeting of Town and Gown guarantee to provide the city with a unique culture, charm and atmosphere. The Lensfield Hotel, established since 1959, has become a relaxing, well-appointed sanctuary for business travellers, visitors from overseas and many college undergraduates and their parents.
The building dates back to around 1850 and is situated, in the heart of this historic and diverse city (a city renowned with the likes of: Byron, Newman, Darwin and Rupert Brook) and is a few hundred yards, within walking distance to all university colleges, especially the famous "Kings", founded by Henry VI in 1441, the university Botanic Gardens, museums, parks and open spaces, entertainment and the shopping vicinity where "one shops till they drop!" The resident owners take pride in giving friendly and efficient service to all guests - and are always available to provide local information.
