A great store. Large, clean, easy to get to and plenty of parking.nA good selection of video games and household items as well as groceries
This is Asda. Situated in the Middlebrook Retail & Leisure Park, although not particularly different from any other Asda it is still a decent Asda. This Asda superstore is most certainly super.nnHowever my biggest problem with this Asda is that both times I have been they have not had the Guardians of the galaxy Xbox game in stock, despite leaving multiple empty cases on the shelf. The empty cases on the shelf baited me into thinking I would be walking home with the game. However as I went to the till they looked for the game and gave me the devastating news that they had none in stock.nnAs the famous proverb says, fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me.
3rd Time Bolton Balloon Fairies have been asked to decorate the store for an Occasion and I've always had good experiences. The staff are so polite and the store is clean and tidy.
Usually a pleasant visit but absolutely shocked to be angrily shouted at and verbally abused by an angry woman who we had the nerve to disturb from playing on her iphone in the travel exchange booth - all because I politely pointed out it would be good customer service to offer the Asda rate. I was aggressiv3ly told its written all over and we should have asked. I pointed out at the tills they always ask. I pointed out she did remember to offer us buy back. Confusingly was told it was too late to get the rate, although when I pointed out she hadn't given us the money, she held the koney glared and again shouting told us we could have our money back and go to m and s. Well, which is it, too late to give us the Asda members rate or not? Again remaining ca and polite in the face of her angry outbursts o ly seemed to enrage her more and she silently slapped the cash in the envelope down in front of us. What a sad and terrible indictment about the people employed by travelex, and the standards of customer service offered by both this company and Asda, who's branding and within who's stall this incident took place. FYI the rate was appalling and we were ten euros lower than the current rate, on £100. I sadly have nothing good to say about thuis place, and that is rare. Playing on her phone, angry ride sarcastic confrontational hostile and aggressive. Can't imagine how bad her life must be for the toxicity she exudes.
Probably the best Asda in this area . Well stocked superstore from clothes to food and drinks, bedding,kitchenware etc. Plenty of free parking up to six hours most days.
