It's not as bad as a lot of reviews here will have you believe. The staff are very nice, friendly and helpful. The is a hot breakfast every morning and although I don't eat breakfast it smelt delicious. The rooms are basic and small with comfortable beds and tea/coffee facilities with working televisions and even a mini fridge! Bathrooms are shared but there is plenty of them so if one is occupied you can go to another. The bathrooms and toilets are very clean and perfectly functional. The location is excellent. 10 minutes from Euston and less than 5 minutes to Goodge Street for the Northern line. Perfect for single traveller's and ideal if on a budget. I would stay here again, happily. Thank you to the staff.
This hotel is basic but functional. I wouldn't recommend it unless your budget is your top priority. Having said that the sheets were clean and the bed was comfortable enough to sleep on. The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly.Rooms: 3/5
Nice Staff, clean Room and enough space. Breakfast was ok and the Hotel is close to the metro Station and many sights in the city. The Toilettes shared are not so nice a little old but clean. I would come back.Rooms: 4/5
If I could give 0 stars I would. This isn’t a hotel, it’s closer to a hostel, absolutely gross, very dirty. My room was over 200 pounds per night I could touch both walls with my arms out, there is very little security regarding room Safety, in my room was a random door with a latch leading to god knows where. The minute I got shown to my room I took one look and smell and decided to leave. I contacted the hotel for a refund and still havnt received any contact. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL
Was a great hotel stayed for 1 night was aloud to leave our bags there as we arrived early , the room was very clean tidy fresh bedding , the breakfast was lovely and had a lot to choose from was a very good stay and will be using again when I go back to LondonRooms: 5/5
The Arran Hotel is located in Gower Street near the British museum. We stayed here for a few days. The room was good and the breakfast excellent. A great place to stay. Thanks again. 21 st July 2013. Costa Constantinides. Limassol Cyprus.
Lovely warm greeting from reception 24 hour reception booking in quick and easy the place has character built in the 1800s the bed was comfortable and the whole place was warm and comfortable breakfast was good and with a good choiceRooms: 5/5
Very dated hotel, needs an upgrade overall. Staff are friendly but sometimes language barrier is an issue. Rooms were large and had the usual amenities. Hotel is clean overall and in a great location for underground to central London! WiFi kept dropping in and out, which was frustrating! They had room service in the form of a takeaway menu, which was a great idea and the food was quick, hot and tasty! Enjoyed our stay!
I wouldn't consider it a hotel. It smelled. The sink, bathroom and toilet where all on top of another. No elevator, lots of stairs and my case was enormous. We stayed 1 night then left to go to another hotel a short distance away for cheaper and it was a far better hotel. The guy at the desk was nice though.Rooms: 1/5
This hotel was really great! The staff were helpful and kind. I've read lots of reviews saying there are too many stairs, but I really didn't see that as a problem. The beds were perfectly comfortable. At this price, I could not have asked for a better hotel!Rooms: 4/5
