Look, I don’t know what you whingers expect for this price this place costs in the middle of bloody London, but you can all go back to where you came from and stop your complaining. The bed was comfortable, it was clean enough, and everything works - I don’t think you can ask for more than that. Bathroom is small, there is no fridge, the water pressure on the upper levels is quite weak, there is no AC, but it doesn’t get very hot in London so can you blame them? The included breakfast is pleasant and delicious, and the staff are friendly and attentive. The location is fantastic and there’s a bloody pub underneath - again, how can you complain? The place is old, but what do you expect for London, everything is bloody old - I prefer the term “quaint” - I feel like I’m in an episode of Mr Bean, and that’s exactly what I want when I come to London Love it - cheap and cheerful sums it up perfectly
Room is really bad, really small, 2 lights are not working. The hairdryer is not in good condition and cover up with tape. Not sure if that is safe to use and UK standard or not, because I’m from Scotland I know if electrical appliances should up to CE standards. The room is not what it’s advertised on booking.com and I paid for £103 for one night I can also attach the receipt. But the staff member is really nice and really close to London Euston station probably only 7 mins walk Rooms: So small, shelter home is better than this
Hello, we are from France and stayed at this hotel for three nights during our short trip. The value for money is excellent, and the staff is very pleasant, attentive, and available. The hotel is clean, and both the room and the bathroom were impeccable. The only downside is that the bathroom is much too small. While we didn’t spend much time in it, there’s not enough space to move around comfortably. We had breakfast twice and enjoyed it, with ample portions. Thank you to the wonderful team. We will return ! Rooms: Not much to say about the rooms despite the lack of space. We had a room for two people which was clean and pleasant. We could hardly hear our neighbors, except in the hallway of our floor. Safety: Regarding the security of the establishment, the hotel entrance is closed and monitored 24/7. No one can enter without authorization, which is logical, but not always the case for some 3- or even 4-star hotels. All the rooms are well-secured with a unique key that must be returned when leaving the establishment for our sightseeing trips.
Stayed here due to its proximity to King’s Cross St Pancras station. Was super close 7-10 min walk and wouldn’t have chosen it had it not been for that. Tiny room, tiny bathroom. TV didn’t work. It was fine but wouldn’t necessarily recommend it. Rooms: Very small room but knew that when booking. Was very clean but very dated. Tiny bathroom just about fit in the shower and I’m not a big person!. The TV signal didn’t work which was very annoying as was hoping to watch the Euros Semi Final but was too glitchy. No air con in room. For any fresh air you could open the windows but I wasn’t sure how safe that would be as I was on the first floor so easily accessible from outside should anyone had wanted to climb up! Walkability: Super accessible to/from King’s Cross St Pancras station, was a 7-10 min walk.
What an absolute disgrace of a “hotel”. I am embarrassed as that due to its fantastic location a tourist may stay here and think the Uk would be ok with the filthy state of the room. Wall paper coming off the walls is disgraceful for a room charged at £260 for one night ! Overall: Extremely dirty Hot No safety latch on windows 3rd floor Tiny beds Dirty bathroom I would not stay here ever again it’s a health hazard.
rooms are good in winter. In summer you will need fans. Bathrooms are good for the price and location but the shower is too small. You will feel the shower curtain on you while showering. Breakfast is simple but very very good. Recommended. Walkability: Walking distance to Euston and King's Cross stations. Lots of eateries nearby
We booked two rooms, one of them was infested with bed bugs, causing our two children to sustain bites resulting in visible bruises as confirmed by a dermatologist earlier today. We brought this matter to the attention of the receptionist upon checkout and requested appropriate compensation. However, the receptionist responded defensively, deflecting responsibility by suggesting we should have reported the issue immediately after breakfast, a moment when it was not 100% confirmed to be bug bites. Only after questioning of our underage children , internet research and examination of several wounds and – last but not least – finding the actual parasites in the room – it could be rightfully argued the room was and IS severely contaminated. It should be pointed out that the receptionist immediately raised his voice at us upon mentioning the issue. As you might imagine, we did not feel like clients, but a burden. He also refused to believe us, which is utterly unacceptable. As avid travellers we have never in our entire lives experienced such a horrendous stay in any part of the world or continent. We are both shocked, appaled and disgusted at the rudeness we were forced to face when the only interest we had was to spend three pleasant days in a metropole. Never – in our entuire lives – have we had to formally complain concerning any kind of holiday accommodation. We can accept cheese in plastic, but the lack of hygiene at your place is simply unbearable. After all, all internet reviews about this hotel are justified. Reviews on platforms such as Tripadvisor and Holidaycheck have consistently highlighted the persistent bed bug problem within the establishment over several years.
No matter what the price, I wouldn’t even let my dog stay here. All of the warnings in reviews for this place on here must be taken seriously. No point repeating what others have said in this review. Please do yourself a favour and stay at the premier inn nearby, at least for your own health! Rooms: Gross Food & drinks: Breakfast is served with absolute minimum food on the plate. Quite depressing
This is the worse hotel I have ever stayed in my life. Avoid at all costs, filthy rooms, rude and lying staff. We found a spider in our bedroom. Justt don't stay here...Rooms: 1/5
Very comfortable stay. Very nice service. Quiet room at the back. Would return.Rooms: 4/5
