We stayed for one night and paid £150 for a room that was advertised as an annex. When it was actually a room on a second floor of a building with a steep staircase not advertised or we wouldn't have booked due to disability issues. The bathroom was unusable as it was far too small, and the shower was dirty. It definitely wasn't worth the money. The location couldn't be faulted for the purpose of our stay and how close to the theatre. However, when leaving this morning, the handrail came away from the wall on the staircase, which almost caused a serious accident. The room is in need of some serious TLC and upkeep.
Love the coziness of this hotel and it's well equipped with all the bare necessities needed to get a good night in London. The location is very strategic as it's surrounded by a variety of eateries, gift shops and tube stations. Would highly recommend this place for those who wants to stay in a budget, cozy and comfortable hotel!Rooms: 5/5
Clean hotel in a great location. The rooms are basic but have WiFi and tea/coffee facilities and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was at the back of the hotel and was very peaceful.Rooms: 4/5
Wonderful. Quick and easy check in. Comfortable bed. Good shower. Clean room. Secure. Kind and friendly people running the place. Superb location. I will return for sure.Rooms: 5/5
The location is perfect! The staff was really nice, they helped with everything. They cleaned the room and we got clean towels everyday. It is a really nice place to stay for get to know London!Rooms: 4/5
Clean, comfy, simple, and well located for all attractions/amenities. You can be as busy or as relaxed as you want to be. No fuss. Welcoming staff. Put your backpack on and go explore. Our second stay here, and we shall stay again. Thank you Seven Dials, from Mom and I Rooms: Spotlessly clean, serviced daily, comfy beds, basic accommodation, tea/coffee facilities, fridge, soap and towels. Nearby activities: Theatres, cinemas, and so many places to eat and drink something for everyone. Markets, shops, museums, street artists, historic buildings, river cruises...go explore, fab memories to be made. Safety: Felt safe at all times. Atmosphere was largely that of people having a good time, and getting on with their day/nights activities. Walkability: Flat area, few short inclines. Mixture of paved and cobbled streets. Narrow pathways in some areas. If you're assisting a wheelchair user, go manual not battery powered, as there are un-evened walkways and not so many dropped kerbs! Accessibility to certain venues can be problematic, so do plan ahead. Food & drinks: From supermarket meal deals to high-end cuisine, fish & chips, afternoon tea and traditional public houses ... it's all there. Enjoy! Noteworthy details: If you're new to London, download a tube map. Underground stations are so convenient, and the stops are not as far apart as one might think. You can pop up in all sorts of places super quick. Stations are attended by TFL staff, whom I have found to be most helpful over the years. Pay using your card, phone, oyster....capped fares. Pay attention to the zones you're travelling through. Zones 1 & 2 cover attractions and most places of interest.
Poor ventilation, poor pressure in the shower, poor internal noise isolation the noise from outside was suppressed enough with the window closed, but then it got too hot and stuffy instead. Bed was almost as hard as the floor.
Excellently located and all the staff were polite and helpful. I stayed in a single room that was small, yes, but had everything I needed. The price is reasonable for its location. I'll be back for sure.Rooms: 4/5
The location is great, near everything. Room is awful on the other side. Small and old, no elevator, no air conditioner and the bathroom was the worst.Rooms: 3/5
The location is great but the basement rooms... are not. You can hear everything from the Starbucks above, every little footstep. It's far too hot in the room and there's little ventilation without windows.Rooms: 2/5
