Two stars as I’ve used this store for a few successful transactions but the recent one almost left me leaving one star. Tried to return a wicker basket that broke as soon as I lifted the lid for the first time, the ‘manager’ in store told me I couldn’t have the delivery charge refunded because “the petrol had been spent already” and also refused to accept it was faulty, as apparently plenty of customers would have found this acceptable to break at first use. I quoted consumer rights act at him and he didn’t care at all. I went outside and called customer services who immediately apologised and offered to collect the item more petrol used to save me going back in, all whilst issuing a full refund. So in short, in this store at least, the customer isn’t always right…….even when he is.
Shelby was amazing! Helped me find my product with out an FT code and carried a very heavy microwave out to my car for me! All with a smile on her face!
What a refreshing experience and what a contrast to the reluctant service in Currys. Maxine could not have been more helpful and exemplified the Argos customer service ethic.

Great service today both at the Watford and Aspley stores. Staff really helpful, especially Scott who couldn't have been more helpful. Service quick, efficient and friendly. Wouldn't hesitate to shop at Argos again. Thank you very impressed.
Always able to get a parking space near to Argos so don't have to worry if I have a large or heavy object to take back to the car. Store was very busy today and fairly long queues at the checkout when I went to pay for my purchase. Initially was going to use my argos card but decided to pay by credit card as there are various machines located in the store for you to do that and save time. Staff are always polite and helpful whenever I go there too.
I had the pleasure of dealing with the Apsley store manager today. He was extremely helpful, and I couldn’t have asked for a better service. He went through the issue thoroughly, regarding the item I was returning as faulty goods even though he had not experienced issues with the item before. Well done Argos, I will continue to shop with you and recommend you to friends and family.
Just ordered a Speaker, On the website it stated available in stock but when the order was made it stated available at 4pm. I called the customer service and was told i could go the rochester branch, i asked if i could get something in a message and the staff member ressured everything would be fine, i then got to the rochester branch a was turnt away due to the code being different. Becareful when making orders due to the new rules in place the company are showing bad business practises and will waste your time.
